Not Morning Joe melting down about Little Rocket Man in N. Korea while shitting his pants on the air. No, not Bobbie going off unhinged… again. Nope, not any of those delicious hors d’oeuvres. That all was good stuff this week, but one undercovered story really stood out for the best move of the week.
What Trump did in one liitle off the cuff joke got more accomplished than what we yahoos here have been trying to do, yet failed to accomplish.
Trump crystallized in the general pubic’s consciousness and subconsciousness the direct relationship of fraud, fake, phony, lying forked tongue Fauxahonas with no other than the Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Made the word ‘charlatan’ synonymous with Sen. Warren. Let’s play word association!
Oh, that picture of her reaction will forever be burned in the mind. Those eyes bugging out, her mouth agape, that pissed to the max look on her face, smoking pouring out of her ears, and her screeching in reply and flailing about with her hand waving and index finger pointer going bonkers. Priceless. Then to make matters worse and draw national attention Pocahontas and Fauxahonas, she was screaming bloody murder about being a victim of a racial slur, ROFLMAO. Oh, somebody please stop Trump, this is killing me. I will crack another rib laughing so hard if he does not stop. Thank you President Trump. That made it all worthwhile. When she was head of the LA chapter of NOW, headquarters told her to shut down her silent candlelight vigil for victims of domestic violence because it was dissing a brother. The brother was OJ and the time was pre-trial when Nichole Simpson’s 911 tapes were just released. Silly young (26) Tammy, she thought the National Organization For Women was all about empowering women and all the women’s issues. A silent candlelight vigil for battered women was shut down by the National Committee. And she was told to endorse and campaign for a man she knew sucked on women’s rights while his opponent (an evil Republican) was better and spot on concerning women’s issues. Tammy got up to the podium and knowingly lied to all the women in the audience. She knew she just told the women to vote for the candidate with the worse record on her advocacy issues and passions. Why? Because race trumps gender, politics trumps gender, and power trumps everything on the dark side of the street.

Maybe I missed it, but I don’t remember the need to provide tax breaks to wealthy hedge fund managers in the Virgin Islands being one of our nation’s pressing crises.”

Paul Emery (aka Punchy) found me in my usual pose on Broad Street yesterday and we had a mostly pleasant chat, as usual. However, he let fly with one claim that sure didn’t seem accurate to me and I promised I’d look into it and respond here.
The claim was that Jared Kushner had ‘ordered Flynn to lie’. I repeated that a couple of times to be sure that was what Paul was claiming… that Kushner had ordered Flynn to lie.
Paul, that is truly Fake News. Kushner relayed a message to Flynn from President-Elect Trump, to contact the ambassador from Russia (and the rest of the Security Council!!!) to ask them to delay a vote on Israel.
That wasn’t a direction to lie, that was a direction to commit a legal act of diplomacy from the incoming administration. Here’s Dershowitz on the matter:

When will Rudy Giulliani daylight? He has been oddly quiet since the Mueller investigation started gaining traction. My guess is that he is cooperating with the investigation and will become an A list witness. His ego is nearly as big as that of Trump’s and he must be steamed that he was bumped out of consideration for any position in the administration. It doesn’t hurt that Mueller may have him by the short hairs with testimony from Reza Zarrab.
