    Yeah the Repubs really lost the farm Tooit. Started out with a nearly balanced budget thanks to Clinton and Newt -even a surplus and ended with the biggest financial crisis since the depression. Add to that two unfunded endless wars and us sitting on our thumbs while Bin Laden took pot shots at us from afar.
    Trump was right about one thing-Bush should have been impeached.

Your latest lying charge against Bush2 suggests that you don’t understand that his “growing surplus” referenced the then annual revenue rate indicating the feds would derive revenues that exceeded the adopted budget for the year. Why would anyone with a 3-digit IQ think he was talking about national debt?

    There was a paper surplus when Bush II was inaugurated, but that disappeared six months after Bush said those words with a puff of the World Trade Center towers. A couple trillion dollars sucked out of the country, and “the biggest financial crisis since the Depression” was an implosion of the Democratic Party sacred cows, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and the bad paper they flooded the word with that took years to unravel.
