We have at least one thing in common. Back in the day I took a cute girl on a date (Fleetwood Mac concert – when they were still Fleetwood Mac). I was the model of politeness . . . and apparently clueless. We had a good time, had a late dinner and then I drove her home, kissed her on the cheek at the front door and went back to my place without as much as putting a hand on her knee. A few days later learned from a friend of ours that she was pissed and even embarrassed because I had “rejected” her. Oh well.

Walt, that is why the came after Moore. They knew if they could destroy the man with all those “anti-Christian” things, it might rub off on the R party. But is has backfired and their own pervs, the ones that have admitted it are now being caught. Moore was their attempt to destroy the R’s and convince people Evangelicals are all hypocrites and therefore not worth supporting.

Charlie Rose yesterday, more Weird Al Yankhertits yesterday, John Conyers (the senior member of the House) more stories today, the revered star reporter for the NYT, even allegations of some inappropriate sexual harassment/pressure/conduct that happened on the I’m With Her campaign. Every meme, every story about the predator culture of the rich and powerful I have read over the past couple of days is all about Lefty transgressions with Roy thrown in there in the top 3 just to appear fair and balanced. Writers taking a “re-examination” of Bubba’s co duct and even Ted Kennedy. Learned more details about Drunk Teddy, aka, the Lion of the Senate, and the poor young lady Mary Jo Kopechne. Did you know that Mary Joe found an air pocket under the dash and survived for two hours under water before the air ran out and she died.? Teddy reported the accident 9-10 house later. Learn something new every day….like today.

I ain’t going to write about Bubba or Drunk Teddy grabbing waitresses’ ass all over Boston resurants and bars for years…already read those stories years ago in the Boston Globe. I ain’t going to bring up all the current sexual harassment/assault accusations at this writing.
But, what I really want to say is that i am beginning to see the fog being lifted and maybe the Unhinged Lefties don’t care about Roy Moore.
What they really care about is what Trump thinks of Roy Moore. That is the whole ball of wax. The press is hounding Trump at every opportunity to get him to say one nice thing about Moore, with loaded false premise questions. Remember they got Trent Lott nailed to the wall for merely saying polite niceities about Strom Thurmond….at his 100th birthday party! Roy Moore is just one man among many being accused now and probably does not rise to the level of story of the Century……allthingsco sidered.
The Roy Moore drama story is not everything in life, but what Trump thinks or says about Moore is the only thing. Another layer of the onion is peeled back.
We all say niceties at retirement dinners or public forums about co-workers and contemparies, even if we don’t like the person in the least or don’t dare trust them as far as you can spit him.
Boy, they canned Charlie Rose instantly. Guess his apology was not a confession or a Mea Culpa, it was spin. Apology spin. That stuff worked quite well in the past, not in this hour’s mood. Mitt Romney was 100%correct recently when he said in politics, you are guilty (even if proven innocent) in the court of political driven public opinion. Paraphrase.
Hard to believe this was only 3 weeks ago. Things can turn on a dime.

L at 11:33 – Not in Crazy-fornia. First you need a legal contract drawn up to give to her before the hug and have both your attorneys present. All physical contact must be preceded by signed and witnessed statements agreeing to each and every said contact.
That way, both parties are protected from further legal action 40 yrs later. Or the next day, depending on how each party ‘feels’.

So Todd believes Moore and he also believes Trump in their denials of accusations of sexual aggression on women and young girls. That means Todd believes at least a total of 23 women have lied in their accusations , 16 Trump 7 Moore not including the police reports that caused them to be on the alert when he was trolling teens in malls and football games.

U.S. Rep. Joe Barton, R-Ennis, released a statement on Wednesday apologizing for a graphic nude photo of him that circulated on social media earlier this week.
“While separated from my second wife, prior to the divorce, I had sexual relationships with other mature adult women,” he said. “Each was consensual. Those relationships have ended. I am sorry I did not use better judgment during those days. I am sorry that I let my constituents down.”
Barton, who announced his re-election bid earlier this month, is navigating in a political environment charged with emerging stories of sexual misbehavior in politics, in business, and in the media. The photo, which appeared on an anonymous Twitter account, set off speculation within Texas GOP circles about his political future.
In a phone interview with The Texas Tribune on Tuesday, Barton said he was deliberating that.
“You’re as aware of what was posted as I am,” he said. “I am talking to a number of people, all of whom I have faith in and am deciding how to respond, quite frankly.”

Barton, the former chairman of the powerful House Energy and Commerce committee, joined the House in 1985 and is the longest-serving member of Congress from Texas.
