I sure you haven’t notice, but I, for one, have been backing off Sqauwking Squaw Dizzy Lizzy precisely because not only have I lit my candle, I have built a candle lit shrine to her. I got some Irish, British, Scottish, and Greenlandic in me, so we might be related. Gimme five on the white side, my Cherokee or Crow princess. You go, girl! 🙂
I see everything is ripe for the Alt-Left to splilt away while the D Party is in disarray, and an angry faction doing the Full Antifa on the establishment’s head. Yelling, carrying on, pack the small venues full (like Townhalls), and cause a ruckus in bigger venues, but they still don’t have the numbers. They are not even the majority in the audience at big Dem venues, but making their voices heard. It’s the thought that counts.
A Bernie-Warren party has tons of passion, but not enough to beat Tom Perez for chair of the DNC or even in the uncharted regions of deepest darkest blue CA, the state Dem Party Chairman. The guy who got it was a long time lobbyists for the RX bigboys. Drugs, chemicals, non organic stuff, ROFLMAO. Alt-left got their consolidation prize from the DNC with their man of color given a nice fancy made up position doing made up work. Powerless position. Thumb twiddling time.
On the streets and wherever/whenever a microphone is around, THE FRINGE gets their moment basking in glory, complete with all the cameras and spotlights trained on them……..just like Donald sucked all the air out of the room. Remember CNN going 24/7 Donald even before the first Primary Debate with Megan? Heck, people were ordering dish or cable just to follow the Donald, but I digress. Point: Passion.
If they had the numbers, they could rip apart the Dem Party, top to bottom. Opps, they are doing that as I write, bottom up. But, come on. Bernie got waxed in the Deeper South. Think he got skunked against Hillary, maybe carried one. Heck, in some areas his numbers looked like Trumps in the Castro district. Think he only pulled out 10% in a couple Of Southern States. See, the power in certain urban areas and places in the South is with the Congressional Black Caucus. They call the shots. See their recent pics? Old Party. 60’s activists becoming Da Man. They are in the Clinton Camp. Pelosi camp. They ain’t going to hand over the reins to some wet behind the ears Bernie Bro. or Warren. But I sure hope the Son of Bernie-Warden Liz-Harris Party gives it a try…..sooner, not later. Never get tired of winning.

Guess it is not surprising. Junior Senator and Presidential Candiate once held similar views. Oh Jesse Jackson got all discombobulated and uttered he wanted to cut Sen. Obama’s nuts off when the candidate told his black audience that the Black Community has to start solving in own problems inside of looking to outside help. Be a part of your community and get together to solve what’s going on in your community..
That was a very very wrong thing to say. Not appreciated by those who have a rather large monetary stake in the game. A vested interest, if you may. Bye Charles. 😦

Yep – Barkley is definitely a white racist. And the young woman who was killed in Charlottesville set up the copycat killings in Spain according to Wolf Blitzed-Out-Of-His-Mind.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/cnn-wolf-blitzer-barcelona-copycat-charlottesville_us_5996014be4b0e8cc855c5db6
And Sheriff Arpaio is ‘anti-immigrant’ according to ABC.
Not to mention that our POTUS is now a member of the KKK according to a James Brown look alike from SoCal.
And in Frisco a ‘hate speech’ event that had no hate speech even by SPLC standards that had to be cancelled because of left-wing violent extremism was blamed for the violence by the left-wing extremists who blocked traffic and fought the police.
The Dems and the left in this country have gone completely off the deep end of rationality and have fallen into spittle-blowing hysteria.
I have seen ardent supporters of differing political groups get a bit dodgy over the years in their support for their ‘side’.
But this is just falling into wholesale lying and a complete fabrication of reality.
It isn’t funny nor is it instructional. It will lead to even more violence and more people being killed. The left and the Dems openly declared that they would do ‘anything and everything’ to bring down Trump. They no longer care about helping people or building up our country in any meaningful way. They have fallen out of power and the blood thirst and panic is in their eyes and their actions.
As long as the left sees the general public buying the lies about who is responsible for the violence there will be violence with no end as long as they can pin it on Trump.
If Trump is impeached, then what?
If the Dems come back into power, then what?
The Dems and the Left have no answers.
And then the real bloodbath begins.
As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

Dr. Rebane, upon kicking off this fresh Sandbox, hinted on a theme: “Would love to see some dialogue on ‘Trump divorces GOP Congress’ and its implications for legislation and 2018.” Still can’t read WSJ links (my bad, my dumb), but here is another take.
Do you know why tax reform is a 90 degree vertical uphill battle? Because the GOP does not want tax reform.
Do you know why the Wall is a 90 degree vertical uphill battle? Because the GOP ( the ones with votes in the lesilative branch) are opposed to it.
Do you know why repealing Obamacare is one big lead balloon? Because the GOP does not want to repeal Obamacare. Sure, they went through the motions to repeal a few parts of it, but not Obamacare. Not really.
On those issues and more, the GOP is on the same page as the Dems. They be united. Do you know why any hint of better relations with Russia (better does not mean good or friendly, just better), because the Dems, GOP, and the Deep State are vehemently opposed to improving relations with Russia.
Do you know why they went ballastic over Flynn? Because he was the only one who would dare to take on The Deep State. Do you know why the Deep State community is 100% all in on globalism and all opposed to issues raised above? I simply do not know. It’s above my paygrade.
Another angle on the GOP divorcing Trump and 2018. Top of my head is another 2009 Tea Partyese fight heading into 2018. Time will tell.

I think that having the police stand by and simply watch left wing thugs beat innocent people just might have a wee bit more of your attention.
Someday it could be you the police will decide not to protect because they established a precedent that you didn’t protest. The left never learns that what goes around, comes around.

Scott, I see wrongs on many sides of the police barricades. That is what is in fashion to talk about since Charlottesville.
You must trust the Government more that I. So you think it seems like maybe it is ok to take away people’s constitutional rights for a good cause like searching for bombs near the Metrorail.
But it sets a precedent.
The bill was proposed by a Democrat and only 5 in Congress voted against it. Who says they cannot get anything done? Warrantless searches not a problem!
Have a nice day!

It sounds bad on the face, but if only 5 Congressmen voted against it I strongly suspect there is more here than meets the eye. If you do some proper research on it and post it up I’ll read and think on it. If your sole information is a zerohedge article, by golly go back out there and google some more information.
“I see wrongs on many sides of the police barricades.”
I’ve looked at a helluva lot of raw footage of these various debacles, and it’s darned hard to not come to the conclusion that the violence is heavily weighted on the Leftwing side. It would take some serious internal filtering to think otherwise (and yes, I realize that a surrounded-by-demonstrators crazy Nazi kid killed someone with a car). The Boston situation is almost comical with the forty or so freespeechers (quite diverse) surrounded by the zombie hordes.

Todays Washington {Post
“n 2015, a Russian-born real estate broker working for the Trump Organization, Felix Sater, reportedly wrote a series of emails to Michael Cohen, Trump’s lawyer, attempting to broker a deal for a Trump Tower in Moscow. Those emails, obtained by The New York Times on Monday, appear to indicate Sater’s willingness to use a Moscow deal as a way to bolster a Trump presidency.
“Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it,” Sater wrote. “I will get all of Putins [sic] team to buy in on this, I will manage this process.”
“I will get Putin on this program and we will get Donald elected,” another email said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The deal in Moscow, spearheaded in 2015 while Trump was already running for president, was originally reported by The Washington Post on Sunday.
In an additional story published Monday afternoon, the Post reported that Cohen reached out to a top aide to Putin for help on the deal, at Sater’s recommendation.
“As this project is too important, I am hereby requesting your assistance,” Cohen wrote in an email to Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s press secretary. “I respectfully request someone, preferably you, contact me so that I might discuss the specifics as well as arranging meetings with the appropriate individuals. I thank you in advance for your assistance and look forward to hearing from you soon.”
Sater reportedly suggested Trump visit Moscow, baiting him by claiming President Vladimir Putin could say “great things” about Trump.”

Lots of good stuff to go round and round about.
My thoughts on KKK and Nazis are that they are like the polio virus, ebola, name your virus. They should be stamped out once and for all. But like pesky viruses they will morph into something else that will find a weakened host somewhere.
I remember when all the branches of government aligned over the Iraq war and Patriot Act.
In hindsight were they a little hasty? Did they go a little too far?

I’m on the side of economic nationalism, favoring your co-citizens, withdrawal from overseas military adventures with no obvious pay-off, actual enforcement of immigration law, color-blind meritocracy.
That probably puts me on the side of some of the ‘Right’ protestors, not others. The protesting Left appears to share none of my interests save a less enthusiastic foreign policy. Make of that what you will.
So far as I can tell, the way these protests is going down is like this:
. Some Right wing group, usually not an unreasonable one, announces and plants a small/medium sized group in an urban area for a speech making fiesta. On at least one of these, some group with Nazi regalia shows up (oddly, they are only remotely related to the real thing in philosophy or ethnic background).
. A Left wing group shows up, the same size or much larger, because they hate anyone associated with Trump, Chamber of Commerce Republicans, Libertarians, or Hitler. The Two Minute Hate is real.
. Everybody yells at each other.
. The Left wing group physically attacks individuals from the Right wing group, typically those who have left the pack (a mistake).
. If the Right wing group is there in sufficient numbers, they beat the tar out of the aggressive Left wing group. This makes sense since they are (a)male (b)somewhat older (c)often blue collar (d)bigger.
. Since this occurs in cities, the mayor, wanting to be reelected, gives the Left wing groups a break in terms of policing. This doesn’t make the police happy, but they have pensions to worry about.
You probably won’t see too much of this in places like Phoenix or in medium sized towns as the chemistry isn’t right for a reaction.
re: Patriot Act. Didn’t matter, the 24/7 surveillance abilities of the 17 intelligence agencies would have happened regardless of legality. The horse has the bit in it’s teeth, and Trump would need more of the public on his side to do anything about it, assuming he cared. Since 1/2 of the country is willing to trade universal surveillance for the chance of bringing down a sitting President, nothing will change.
re: Iraq. An incredibly stupid move. Sadly, the 17 intelligence agencies and the Bush/Obama administration think it’s reasonable to bring down dictators to make the world better. The results are as seen.

Now go back 50 years in the South and you had a not unreasonable group of people who wanted the same freedoms enjoyed by the majority.
You had an overwhelming force come down on them and beat the hell out of them.
These statues were remnants and symbols of that mindset 50 to 150 years ago.
This time the tides had turned and the KKK, Nazi, Confederate racist types that wanted to save their symbols who were generally considered wrong 50-150 years ago were met with an equal but opposite force reminding them that they were no better than pedophiles.
But now that has energized a bunch of pissed off antifa anti WTO anti corporate anti police overkill BLM masked protesters who act more like a mob than anything else.

I’ll add one more thing.
Encouragement and maintenance of a national culture. There are a couple of implications here. One is to encourage shared experiences and opportunities, you can make an argument for universal conscription for example (also because a lack of forward basing might imply a stronger homeland defense) or public schooling. Another is to strongly avoid mass immigration from single areas and the formation of ethnic-specific polities from that immigration. I don’t think that any historian worth his/her salt would tell you that combining radically different peoples within a single state with roughly similar levels of power results in anything but blood and tears. The US has seen three great waves of immigration…the first, where people like me showed up and killed native Americans, the second which made for tons of unrest in the late 19th and early 20th C (and resulted in incredibly strict immigration law in 1921-1924), and our current situation.
Anyone that feels this way is, by definition, a Nazi and needs to be fought in a Civil War. I wish everyone good luck on that.

Excuse me when I don’t feel any sorrow when those thugs start getting dropped in the streets. My “excuse” will be,, “they have it coming.”

…sorry to clutter up George’s blog with so much stuff, not even any polls.
One last word on immigration, as that tends to be the flashpoint for conflict. I think that US immigration law should reflect the needs of the country, not the needs of the immigrants.

So Scenery is saying that it’s OK to physically attack people because of their beliefs. Or because they ‘remind’ you of stuff you don’t like.
The question is – why is that OK only for the left?

Scenery at 12:08 – “Scott, I see wrongs on many sides of the police barricades.”
Yes, you did say you hoped the warrantless search thing would be thrown out.
Why did you change the subject back to protesters saying I should be more interested in that?
Then start talking about protesting the setting of a precedent regarding the local civil administration of police activities when I was talking about the government stripping more of our Constitutional rights? Sounded to me like you really didn’t care that much after all.
Thanks for changing the subject!

Just which “civil rights” has the gov. stripped “jon”? Your children called ANTIFA are the ones actually doing the “stripping” of those rights.

“Stamped out” is a figure of speech.
Why am I seeing what amounts to a lot of whining and hand wringing about the poor KKK and Nazis losing their free speech rights? They have a right to free speech just like the Westboro Baptist Church does. I still think they are all a bunch of scum and I doubt I would piss on them if they were on fire.
If others want to form a prayer circle around them go right ahead.
Back in Shakespeare’s day wouldn’t they have been pummelled with rotten fruit, or in the days of the old West tar and feathered and ridden out of town on a rail?

Scenery – Not changing the subject. The subject is Constitutional Rights.
Just wondering why you are so concerned about a law that is blatantly un-Constitutional but will probably be thrown out and thereby will not actually be hurting anyone. But the govt is currently now in many cities withholding police services and protections from law abiding groups based on their political leanings and thereby depriving them of their right to assemble, protest and disseminate their ideas.
But you’ve already decided that if you don’t like their ideas, you have the right to “stamp them out once and for all”.
Scenery is hardly the bastion of Constitutional Rights that he claimed he was.

It looks like AZ Sen. Jeff Flake has blown his sweet gig. Trump and the PAC’s are supporting Dr. Kelli Ward. For the po’ ol’ pollhead, she has a massive lead in the latest poll. Kelli came in at 47% and Flake only had 21% as the incumbent. 66% wanted Flake replaced. Deplorable is it not? 😉

Hah – BUSTED! Just a figure of speech. Right. Got a little excited, did we?
Kinda had to walk back your big time talk?
And we notice Scenery is being veeeery silent about the commies that march around.
“Why am I seeing what amounts to a lot of whining and hand wringing about the poor KKK and Nazis losing their free speech rights?”
Just so, Scenery. Smoked you out.
What you are seeing, Scenery, is folks like me that expect the govt to apply the rules of law and the protection of the law to all citizens. Not just the ones we agree with.
You, like all lefties, have no comprehension of Constitutional Rights.
Total Fail.

Bessee at 2:37 – And in Nevada as well. Isn’t there a guy that posts here all the time telling us about how unpopular Trump is and how he will be poison for anyone running for office that is associated with him?
Of course we have a ways to go before the actual election, but so far it looks like the folks that didn’t hitch up with Trump are going to be out.
Time will tell.

Hysterical?? Nice try. Pissed is more like it. It’s OK when Lefty punk pukes attack with no consequences, and even condoned by Proggy a-holes. “Peace through violence” my ass.
And it’s ANYONE Right of center that’s getting attacked by your Lefty goons.
Of coarse “jon”, sceanry, (or whatever other fictitious mask he/she/it happens to wear at any given post,) feels those attacks are somehow justified.

Note of appreciation – glad to see readers give the RR tenets on governance and immigration such ongoing and hearty endorsements. Not that we on this humble blog are alone, but merely being constantly accused by the Left of holding radical outlier beliefs that in reality are shared by tens of millions of fellow Americans.
