A couple of Union articles by libs wanting to take Trump to task for not saying what they wanted him to say. Of course I could not resist responding. And to the Publisher Don Rogers I gave him this response as I agreed with his article.
“My telling you that this is a spot on article of thruth will get you intop trouble with the left. But all you have said here is right. I went to Berkeley twice for free speech rallies. No nazis no KKK or hate groups were there in the rally. But the “:antifa” were there surrounding the whole park. Dressed in the helmets, black outfits and ski masks. They sliced and diced and pepper sprayed peaceful men and women simply speaking about free speecch. And the speakers I listened to were black, white, brown and yellow. Male and female. The left wants to shut down free speech it appears to me. And that is the trap they set. Americans of common sense know if you shut down one, then it won’t be long until they get to you.”
You should all comment oin these since the Union allows it. I see Gregory does periodically and I even aw a Tozer once.

Trump Divorces the GOP Congress,,, considering that Trump is the world’s most famous troll who uses Twitter and his rallies to troll the press and anyone else he is trying to get a rise out of, why wouldn’t he use Twitter like he used the New York Post to give notice to his wife about a pending divorce?

Looks like someone googled ‘Trump divorces GOP Congress’, clicked the first link, read the first paragraph of a WSJ article, and semi-quoted it. Good job.
In terms of the problem generally, this will be 100% based on whether he can threaten their jobs via midterm elections and/or help with fund raising. The Prime Directive of a congressman is to keep the gig and sit in the comfy chair with the talking stick. Just like our local political figures but writ large.
I need to think back on those Presidents who had a really dominant relationship with Congress. Reagan perhaps? Maybe LBJ, especially given his resume, but it probably was as much fear of ending up in a shallow grave in the Texas Hill Country.

Trump Divorces the GOP Congress
Republicans need to think of Trump as a political independent.
By The Editorial Board
Aug. 24, 2017 7:08 p.m. ET
A biographer says Donald Trump once told him that he informed second wife Marla Maples he was seeking a divorce by leaking it to the New York Post. President Trump now seems to be using Twitter to tell Republicans in Congress that he’s divorcing them

Nancy P. thinks they are winning all the battles. I guess she forgets that LIBS have lost every special election. If she believes that’s winning,, well,,, keep up the great work.
As for Trump “divorcing” the GOP,, it’s more like the people on the Right putting the old RINOs out to pasture. The Rube Goldberg machine of politics has worn out it’s usefulness
Those that refuse to work with Trump are seeing their demise on the horizon, by getting primaryed. The people put you in office, they can take you out the same way. We are seeing that more and more.
As for LIBS,, they can’t go left enough to make their city folk happy.
Yes, TAX the rich and free shit for all,, just ain’t buying the votes it used to.
Jobs? Trump has actually created the environment for plenty of new employment, and better pay. Kicking out the illegal workers is raising wages for the legal folk.
It’s going to tough for LIBS to take any seats, let alone the 80 that lunatic Nancy is hoping for.

from Paul – “For serious news I read the Christian Science Monitor.”
I had thought that rag went belly up – but I see it’s online only. Started by M Eddy to keep her cult members from actual news that might have them realize that ‘Christian Science’ isn’t Christian and it certainly is not scientific.
I can see why Paul likes it. The first article I read involves fire arms and the writer shows the same lack of rational thought as Paul when bang sticks are involved.
The whole article was full of false info, poor reasoning and biased reporting.
Maybe some other articles are better – when I have time I’ll try to read some.

I had thought science kinda’ has a little to say about that.
As in – “the forensic examiner determined the human remains to be a female, approximately 20 to 30 years of age.”
And archaeologists – holy cow! Now they have to go back and re-do the records.

Well – there is one more possible reason Paul voted for Barry Sotero.
I have to give him all the options.

Possibly this was Paul’s ‘woke’ moment.
He might have wanted to vote for an American of African descent before Obama, but you know – Obama was the first ‘clean’ one. Seeing as to how voting for Obama meant voting for Biden for being next in line, maybe that was what swung the deal for Paul.

Bush was hardly the worst pres in modern history. Carter was a nice guy that should have run a PTA. Maybe. Setting up the mullahs to run Iran was really a stroke of genius. How many women and gays have been persecuted, raped and murdered by the nice folks Carter helped into power? Clinton couldn’t tell the truth if his life depended on it and was impeached. He ran our country’s finances into the ground. Clinton was easily the most hypocritical pres to ever sit in the oval office. As much as I detested Nixon, I would vote for him over Clinton any day. Bush had good intentions and started off fine. He ran into problems when he went back on his word to not try to build up other countries. He had reasonable cabinets and SCOTUS picks – far better than the communists and dunder heads that Clinton and Obama put into power. Gee – remember the fabulous Surgeon General that Clinton found somewhere? She recalled fondly when the youths just beat each others’ brains out with baseball bats.
And of course as the nation’s chief physician she felt it was her duty to help the young learn how to masturbate. And wanting us to ‘get over our love affair with the fetus’.
But the thing is Paul – I can talk about it and discuss the issue.
What you are engaged in is classical deflection. You are a past master.
I ask you a question and you either don’t answer or ask another question of your own or just deflect.
One of these days little boy, you might want to learn how to have an adult conversation with logic, reason and facts.
Until then, you’re just a sad little troll who hasn’t got a clue.
Get off the dope and grow up.
I realize you are totally embarrassed by how easily you were duped into voting for Obama the fake. Until you are willing to talk about how a 3rd rate pol got you to vote for him, all you can do is deflect.

Russ, it is over. They won, nothing to see here.
The statues are gone, some by the vote of the local ccity council, some moved into the basement (Capital Dome), some to museums, and some to The Daughters of the Confederacy. Ohyeah, some were removed in the dead of night and put in the maintence shed and some just plum got busted up in the dead of night as well. Still can’t figure why they had to go after Joan of Arc. She was already martyred. Oh, that’s right. They make the dumbest generation look smart. Got to remember that one. Explains a lot.
They won the Statue War. Done. Over. Score one for the good guys. They are on a roll…on a terror. Winds at their back. Clear sailing now. The land has been cleansed.
Seriously, do they know what they are doing? Do they what to erase hat happened once on this or that hunk of dirt? With breakthroughs and cheap DNA tests peddled on-line, you never know. You might be hating on yourself, or a distant distant ansector on a land far, far, away.
But here is sad part. We need plaques on spots, if nothing else. Like driving down some old State highway or road and stopping at a CA Historical Marker to stretch and check it out.
There is no plaque at Hangsman’s Tree. Nothing. It’s called River Something Park now. Picnic tables, hiking trails, a restroom. No one knows that happened there. Gone. Unmarked.
There is no little brass or bronze plaque set in a volcanic rock wall where I know some Japanese were interned in WWII. It’s a park now, nice baseball field, good lightening. Elementary school across the street, and the back of jr. high buts up against the other side. Nothing, absolutely nothing about what went down there on this hunk of dirt in 1943 or whenever. Not a peep. Hangman’s Tree and Japanese camp (small) got whitewashed. It’s like they never existed. For all practical purposes, it never did. Year Zero. That’s why it’s important to not whitewash persons, places, and things.
