Trump is amazing! Is there not anything that man cannot do? He is curing Bush Degrangement Syndrome as I write this. It is happening on his watch. Truly he is the Emperor God….or is that the God-Emperor? No matter.

“Scott, in the view of Brad Carver the repercussion are a good thing because in his view it furthers Republican ambitions by tilting an election.”
Oh – the ‘repercussions’. That’s a far cry from saying that it was a good thing that a Republican elected official was shot.
I wonder if Paul thinks that the ‘repercussions’ of the Sandy Hook shooting resulting in action on ‘gun violence’ that he approves of is good?
Or is Paul going to claim that no one ever, ever tied the shootings into proposed legislative action or regulation?
How does that shoe fit, Paul?
Just try to pull it out of your mouth.

Of course not.

Scott, the only topic worth replying to is polls and pot, pot and polls. We have gone from “name one poll where Trump hit 50%” (Saturday’s Rasmussen poll) to “Trump, the big fat liar, said he is ahead of Zerobama at this stage.”
Excellent Bob & Weave. A moving target. Kudos. Got off the ropes. About time. That other strategy of having his opponents wear themselves out beating on him needed to go back to the drawing board. Excellent improvision and going to Plan B.
Now, which came first. The pot or the polls?
Speaking of moving targets, what a gift from the Almighty that the progressives in general and those afflicted with TURDs in particular are such bad shots. Horrible shots. Plumb embarrassing. Gives a perfectly good firearm a bad name.
I am surprised they can hit the broad side of the barn or FUE. Otherwise with the caliper of ammo the gruntled former Bernie worker had, it would of/should of been a real blood bath. Guess TDS (TURDs) really affects one’s vision , not to mention one’s grasp of reality. Interesting to see when the political assassin got that ammo.

BLACK MONDAY FOR THE CLIMATISTAS
Most climatistas are going to call today “Black Monday,” because today has dealt a double-whammy of what Al Gore would call inconvenient news.
More here: http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2017/06/black-monday-for-the-climatistas.php
Power quotes on two studies showing that models are not up to the science:
First Study: Over most of the early twenty-first century, however, model tropospheric warming is substantially larger than observed; warming rate differences are generally outside the range of trends arising from internal variability. The probability that multi-decadal internal variability fully explains the asymmetry between the late twentieth and early twenty-first century results is low (between zero and about 9%).
Second Study: In particular, we point out that this work used invalid modeling tools, contained modeling errors, and made implausible and inadequately supported assumptions. Policy makers should treat with caution any visions of a rapid, reliable, and low-cost transition to entire energy systems that relies almost exclusively on wind, solar, and hydroelectric power.
These two studies were done by ardent decarbonization promoters, they just could not deal with the scientific BS that was being promoted by their Climatistas Academic lounge mates in previous studies.

Gregory writes
“Interesting news” seems limited to polls that have Trump holding the short straw.”
Gregory why do you find it to be of no interest that Trump is either delusional, ignorant a liar when he claims that he is even in the polls and ahead of Obama at the same stage of his Presidency? That is so easily refuted yet participants on this blog refuse to even acknowledge the fact that he is totally wrong. If we cannot even agree on such a simple and documented matter of fact then why should we engage in more subtle conversations. Of course you still believe that the Russians had nothing to do with interfering with last years election so what’s the use?

Paul, one, I think polls (outside of the real polls on election days) to be a sideshow nothingburger and am amused by your continuing breathless reports of GOP polling doom since we started chatting during the primary season. Second, I don’t know exactly what Trump said or wrote and what, if any, basis there might have been for his actual words.
There are reasons I didn’t vote for him, Paul, but given the DNC/Podesta/Hillary role in pushing their media partners to push Trump as a “Pied-Piper candidate” to lead the GOP astray, I think the Dems should live with the results.

Anybody notice the statement issued when we shot down the Russian jet? It was the first time I heard our new policy. “We are NOT fighting the Syrian Army, we are fighting ISIS in Syria. Boy, that is good to hear.
The “no fly zone” Crooked Hillary, Puppet Mc Cain, the Deep State, and the Internationalists proposed may have worked in the now respected George W Bush’s Iraq War, but not in Obama’s Syria of today. The skies over Syria that Trump inherited are buzzing with Syrian jet fighters, Iranian jets, Russian jets, and US jets. Boy, that is a powder keg waiting to explode, escalating out of control to War with some bigger boys involved. Didn’t we have a poster here who thought the solution was a no fly zone in Syria, ROFLMAO.
Seems when Secretary of State John Kerry said the only way we would not cut loose on Assad’s head with our arsenal was if Assad would turn over all his chemical weapons. Putin jumped in and said he would take care of that and we held our horsemen back. Putin was elevated to an instant world celebrity as a man of peace and problem solver in addition to being propelled to the position of an instant credible player on the world stage. Now, Obama the war monger got a Nobel Peace Prize for “Potential” and Putin should have gotten one too, per the crazy way the peaceniks think in Olso. Akin to Sierra Pacific Industries being called a green company and selling carbon offsets as well as timber. That was not what being a green company means! Too funny.
Good thing HRC’s no fly zone coupled with taking out Assad and directly fighting the Syrian Army never got to see the light of day. Too many jets from too many countries flying over Syria now. Good to hear our policy is not to directly fight the Syrian Army. They have the Russians and Iranians covering their flank. Its how The Great War escalated (WW 1).
Fighting ISIS is a real existential threat to our Constitution, females, gays, rule of law, and our wonderful civil liberties. Cooler heads have prevailed. Thank goodness for John Kerry disengaging his brain when he engaged his mouth. Otherwise, we would be fighting the Syrian Army, the Iranian Red Guard, and the sophisticated new generation of Russia anti-aircraft batteries as well as Russian jets screaming overhead. What was Obama-Clinton thinking? Their no fly zone solution was worse than our national security problem, which is ISIS.

Ok, since Paul is beneath talking to some of us uncivilized in-bred knuckledraggers and instead addresses “dear readers”, can some Dear Reader out there explain to me how one “hacks an election”???? Sure, the Russians play mischief and sow discord for their perceived geo-political advantage (think backing Neo-Nazis in Germany and counter-cultures in countries closer to their border), but HOW DOES ONE HACK AN ENTIRE NATIONAL ELECTION in the USA when our polling booths are not hooked up to the internet??? Sway an entire election, influence an entire Presidential election, HACK an entire national election to achieve a desired outcome for the most unfavorable candidate ever to win a primary in my lifetime?
Someone explain the mechanics of hacking an election. Hillary’s private server damaged her more than Wikileaks ever could do and all Wikileaks did was embarrass the DNC and a handful of top campaign staff, all of which were seasoned veterans of winning the Big Prize.
How does one hack an election? Guess if you repeat the lie to yourself long enough, you actually come to believe your own BS. A rather perverse phenomenon, yet a very effective defense mechanism. Keep saying that lie until it, and it only, becomes your truth, the whole truth, and nothing but your truth.
Reality, what a concept. Now, how does any person, place, or thing hack a US Presidential election??? Hmmm. Crickets again? Darn. I was foolish enough to give it another go. “Ain’t no fool like an old fool” me says slinking away to my hole in the ground. I am such a worm. But, how? How? How?

For the record, i remain puzzled as to why we are still discussing the possibility of Russia’s impacting last year’s election either through the criminal negligence of Hillary or collusion with Team Trump. Long ago on these pages we established that no one has yet to identify the means of such Russian meddling, and no one has surfaced with a shred of evidence that such meddling occurred. Nothing there has changed. Mueller has been charged with putting a bow around the whole affair. What possible contribution can we here make by trading unsubstantiated allegations and idle thoughts with each other? Until we hear from Mueller, let’s concentrate on the fate of Trump’s agenda wending through a Congress ranging between resistive and recalcitrant. That is a more visible process that will have a real impact on the country.

The words from Trump were a direct quote of his tweet. Trump must think polls to be important because he follows them so closely. Here’s his exact tweet unless you think they are fake.
“The new Rasmussen Poll, one of the most accurate in the 2016 Election, just out with a Trump 50% Approval Rating. That’s higher than O’s #’s!
4:02 AM – 18 Jun 2017 ”
MOre from the same article
“Trump suggested that his approval rating was higher than that of his predecessor, Barack Obama. That does not appear to be the case – at least not when comparing statistics from similar stages of the two men’s presidencies.
Rasmussen poll results released about five months into Obama’s first term – on June 16, 2009 – had his approval rating at 56%. An average of the major national polls compiled by Real Clear Politics put Obama’s approval rating on June 16, 2009, at 59.6%.
Trump also celebrated the results of the Rasmussen Reports poll on Friday, tweeting that the 50% approval rating was “great news.”
Still, most other major polls conducted during the same time frame yielded lower numbers. The Real Clear Politics average estimated Trump’s approval rating on Friday, June 16, to be just 40%.”

Oh yeah. Trump said his Inaugural had bigger crowds than Obama and the buttercups were running around like chickens with their heads cut off posting pics With arrows on them and side by side comparisons and 24/7 exploding talking heads proving that Obama’s crowds were bigger until they were blue in the face. Hmmm. I am not so convinced. Yep, I was rolling on the ground laughing over that one. Boy, Trump lit their hair on fire with that one. One of many countless ones. He said he won in a landslide and won the popular vote or something just to watch them breath into the paper bags that the WH so generously provided to the Fakenews Press Corps. Loved that one. And who can forget the recent break of etiquette, a foo-pay if you will, by putting the NYT and Washington Compost in the farest nosebleed seats in the back row. In fact, it was a 3 chair back back row. Sorry, can’t hear ya, can’t even see ya. Funny guy.
So, Trump tweeted that his numbers are higher than Obama’s at this time? Lol. Yep, someone took the bait hook, line, and sinker. How does that worm taste, Punchy? Better than crow I bet. Yum, yum. Boy, talk about walking into that one. Think it’s called leading with the chin in rope-a-dope lingo.
That Trump is one funny man. A gift. He has spent some time with a lot of Liberals and knows they simply are incapable of wrapping their heads around any semblence of sarcasm and where tragically born without a sense of humor. Play them like fiddle, President Trump. It’s fun watching them dry humping knot holes in oak trees.
