One doesn’t have to look too hard to know there is a mainstream media bias to destroy the Trump administration. So far, the media’s desired outcome of impeachment continues blindly in search of a justification.
The media’s incessant drumming of collusion based on anonymous sources has 59% of Democrats believing Russia hacked the November vote to give Trump the election according to an Economist/YouGov poll conducted May 20-23.
The media’s propaganda may also be responsible for the murderous rage and irrationality demonstrated by some on the Left against President Trump. An example is this week’s viral photograph of Kathy Griffin holding up a bloodied decapitated head of President Trump, and Portland mayor cancelling a pro-Trump rally because a murderous knife attacker supported Bernie.
For going on a year investigations by our intelligence agencies and oversight by Congressional committees have found no evidence of Russian collusion. This lack of evidence of collusion has been publicly stated by Senator Feinstein (D Cal.) (twice), former Obama CIA Director John Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and CIA chief Mike Morrell, as well as House Intelligence Committee ranking member Adam Schiff (D Cal.).
To those of you not suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, I suggest you look at and compare the past actions of Democrats in their relations with the Russians. Consider:
–Trump never delivered a “Reset” button to the Russians, Hillary Clinton did.
–Trump was never a business partner who received $35 million dollars from the Russiana investment fund nicknamed “Putin’s Child.” John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign manager, was.
–Trump was never paid $500,000 for a speech in Moscow by Renaissance Capital which was tied to Russian intelligence. Bill Clinton was.
–Trump never approved the sale of 20% of American uranium while Secretary of State to Rosicom, the Russian State Nuclear Agency. Hillary Clinton did.
–Trump never lied and said he wasn’t part of the Russia uranium deal. John Podesta and Hillary Clinton did.
–Trump never scored $145 million from the shareholders of the uranium company one-fifth sold to the Russians. Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation did.
–Trump never received millions of dollars of donations from the Russian oligarchs as part of a Russian nuclear research cluster. The Clinton Foundation did.
–And, a reporter’s diligent search of Canadian tax records didn’t find Trump connected in financial dealing with the Russians. Hillary Clinton was.
There is solid evidence, not anonymous unsubstantiated rumors, of inappropriate dealings with Russia pointing to John Podesta, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and the Clinton Foundation. Yet, little is said about these matters by the main stream “lamestream” media. And those who subscribe to Leftist ideology have neither an appreciation of this truthful evidence nor unselective memories.
The mainstream media recently tried to establish a story that proved false that Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, tried to establish a communications ‘back channel’ with the Russians. Really! If the Trump team colluded with the Russians before the 2016 election why was Kushner now trying to establish back channel communications with them? Hateful desperate people will grab at anything, even the irrational and inconsistent, to fulfill their evil ends.
No evidence of Trump collusion with the Russians means no crime. But, to Democrats and their media cohorts this doesn’t matter. They have recently switched tactics and are now accusing the president of covering up a non-crime by heating up an obstruction of justice scandal to impeach President Trump even though there is no apparent wrongdoing or collusion by the Trump team with Russia.
This scandal without a crime can put the Democrats in a bind. With 59% of Democrats now believing Russia hacked the November vote based on a steady stream of unfounded media attacks on the president, even the New York Times reported “liberal activists are courting a backlash of their own as they demand of their lawmakers nothing short of driving the president from office by any means necessary.” Democrats and left wing media have overpromised about what was possible.
Retired Assistant Attorney General Andrew McCarthy argues the only way to counteract the left’s attempted annihilation of the president is evidence-based counter attacks. First, investigate the Obama administration’s abuse of government surveillance powers for the purposes of political spying. Also, Congress should investigate whether Obama’s Justice Department colluded with the Clinton campaign to influence the 2016 election outcome. And, third, Congress should investigate the collusion between the Russians, the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation.
May truth will out.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, will satisfy the savage beasts until Trump is hung from the Tree of Woe alive and screaming in pain while his entails are cut out and feed to the fowl of the air. Today there is bipartisan support to dial up sanctions against Russia for cyber meddling in our elections. Every single agency and every single branch of our intelligent agencies have said without reservation that Russia hacked the elections. Sauer disregards this as Democratic myopathy? Norm can repeat what he wants to repeat as many times as he can repeat it but nothing will change these facts that are not simply “unfounded media attacks.”

Since you think you have a handle on words, being a news professional… what does “hacked” mean? Break into a computer and look around. Maybe copy files while you’re there. Name the last election where that didn’t happen by all sorts of actors, international and domestic. Now… count the votes that were not counted or changed as a result. My best guess for the total number of votes affected by “hacking” in November was Zero. Nada.
So, what does “hacked the election” mean, Paul?

Russians hacked DNC files and used the stolen emails to distribute to Wikileaks to influence the vote against Hillary. Trump didn’t have the integrity to not use stolen material in his campaign. Also there is tons of evidence as to how the Russians tried to influence the election by manufacturing and distributing fake news. And receantly the latest leaked information from the NSA that shows the Russians tried to hack into our election system with undetermined results.
“Russian military intelligence executed a cyberattack on at least one U.S. voting software supplier and sent spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials just days before last November’s presidential election, according to a highly classified intelligence report obtained by The Intercept.
The top-secret National Security Agency document, which was provided anonymously to The Intercept and independently authenticated, analyzes intelligence very recently acquired by the agency about a months-long Russian intelligence cyber effort against elements of the U.S. election and voting infrastructure. The report, dated May 5, 2017, is the most detailed U.S. government account of Russian interference in the election that has yet come to light.”
Of course the leakier was arrested and the rest is history but it shows clearly the intent of the Russians to interfere with our elections to the full extent of their ability. The full truth as to the extent is not yet known.
Combine that with Trump hiring Flynn to be head of the NSA with the full knowledge he was under investigation by the FBI and my yap is complete.

So you think the ODNI’s 25-page report from US intelligence agencies released a few month ago is bunk? How do you know more than the agencies that prepared the report.

It’s mostly about RT. Basically the Russian equivalent of the BBC (or the NYT to the DNC). There’s a few words in there about Russian intelligence efforts via the internet, although you might want to check Ft. Meade or Bluffdale if you want to be bothered about such matters. Seriously, read that piece of dreck again. There’s nothing there. A good newswarrior would look elsewhere for scoops.
In any case, let’s pretend there’s actually proof that a Kremlin financed computer expert broke into the DNC files and released the wondrous id of the Democrats to the world at large. So what? Change the password next time.

Yes, the Intel agencies say there is a high degree of probability that Russians did this or that. They cannot say for sure because they were refused access to the DNC computers. Refused. Yes, the DNC hired an outfit to do the forensic examination of their computers. Yes, the guy who runs the outfit is a Russian! But, he is more anti-Putin than Punchy is. Yes, that outfit did much work for the Ukrainians opposed to Mother Russia. And on and on it goes.
Did the same Intel agencies say not one vote was changed because of Russian “hacking” or attempts to create mischief? Yes. Did Comey say that there was a 99% chance that at least 4 “actors” got into Hillary’s State Department private server housed in a bathroom in Colorado? Yes. Oh boy, that is where the real treasure is to be found. State secrets are not campaign secrets. Much more damaging. At least 4 actors were in there reading all the goods on the United States of America. Can’t say for sure, just a 99% certainty per James Comey.
Let’s look at a similar case, or a hypothetical case if you prefer. Did Castro’s boys cheer when JFK was shot? Did folks and politicians make overtures to Cuba during the decades of our travel ban and economic embargo of Cuba? Yes. Did they commit treason? Guess it all depends what your definition of “is” is. Did some of our politicians and pundits and experts say it was time to reevaluate our relations with Cue-ba? And on and on it goes.
We have a special prosecutor looking into the Russian collusion thing, as well as Russian interference with our election. RT stuff as well, aka, fakenews. To be honest, I have read a lot of RT articles, as well as sites from the Russian Foreign Ministry. Many were just disgustingly very personal “attacks” on the First Family. Obama with tons of make up on in full drag. Michelle looking wantonly and lustfully at a banana looking like an ape. Very personal. Some articles were good, some required the reader to make the leap of faith to draw conclusions. Yet, RT has published many articles from freelance excellent independent writers, some who have been interviewed and quoted on our little Democracy Now! show, aired locally by our local fakenews director.
We just have to wait and see until Mueller wraps it up. Of course, many of the NYT, Huff-n-Puff Post, and Washington Compost articles citing anonymous and former WH or Intel sources have been called by our Intel and FBI as flat out wrong. Wait and see.
The bottomline is we all know this will never end as long as we have those pesky unnamed witnesses seeing the one armed man drinking Black Russians pulled from his picnic basket on the grassy knoll. Wait a cotton pickin’ second. He was drinking White Russians not Black Russians and he was eating Chicken Kiev!!
We just gotta wait and see the final report, then tear into it with a vengeance!
