My bride’s recent letter to The Union containing a humorous poke at the Left overstressed by the election has been met with vituperation and vilification by our local progressives. On the obverse, her scribblings have given rise to a flood of plaudits from the Right, even unto being included as a skit at the monthly Republican Women’s luncheon.
The problem she highlights appeared to more sober souls as a real syndrome that has caused the Left to express itself publicly nationwide through a wide spectrum of indignation ranging from outright street violence and rioting to organized attendances to disrupt Republican members of Congress holding constituent town halls. Well, it turns out that our dis/mis/un-informed and permanently pinched-faced progressive neighbors shot their wad a bit early. The American Psychological Association has just reported on some recent research which describes a new syndrome called Post-Election Stress Disorder, a clinical condition of which many today on the Left suffer. So it turns out that our humor-free neighbors have volunteered themselves as Exhibit A for PESD. More here.

PaulE 541pm – That settles it, you don’t read my posts or comments. I have not “underestimated” the Left’s response to Trump in these pages, I have proclaimed its intensity and virulence. The Alt-Left cannot let Trump succeed, else their entire Agenda21 is toast here and abroad.
They saw what the Right did with the Tea Parties – they changed the face of Congress in just one election and then doubled down in each one since. But don’t worry Paul, you guys have the wind at your back. In our country, and especially in California, the regency of dumbth will take generations to topple. And we humans don’t have that many generations remaining.

Golly, Paula Poundstone pleaded no contest to lewd acts on a child … a felony, with a real victim. Could have gotten 13 years in prison, before Orange became the New Black. How long between that and being able to work for, say, NPR or Nevada County’s Center for the Arts?
Maybe the Center will hire MY as soon as the hate settles. Paul, what are the chances? How much to rent the Nevada Theater if the Center passes?
Or are double standards universal among our local national and international Blue Meanies? Left wing comedians can be rehabilitated if they actually get convicted of child endangerment or “lewd acts”, but if an unabashed Brit “dangerous faggot” who can hold his own with Bill Mahre, who was a victim of molestation as a child has an old tape of him talking about the issue (talking!), the left goes after his ability to make a living making fun of he left?

You know, I have probably painted too many persons, places, and thangs with the evil broadbrush. Not all campus students are Snowflakes and not all current journalism students are disciples of Melissa Glick nor the UC Berkeley student paper.
This young writer has shown some promise. Good journalism from Stanford of all places. I have harbored some bad vibes in my heart since Stanford dropped their mascot “Indians” and replaced it some stupid bird from St. Louis. Oh well, it’s time to bury the hatchet and smoke the peace pipe.

The Left’s two-fisted approach to global autocracy is 1) grow governments of elite central planners by promoting fraudulent societal needs (e.g. ‘climate change’), and 2) promote raw democracy through increasing the size of compliant, ignorant, and powerless electorates (e.g. through politicized education, expanded wealth transfers, and now franchising non-citizen migrants).
The Left can do nothing save repeat their strong denials in the face of overwhelming evidence. But as Lenin has shown, that works.

Bill T at 8:28 – The problem is that this news item will either sail right over the lefts’ head or be ignored as ‘fake news’.
I can hardly keep count of the number of times in the last year that I had to show a photo ID. And only once was that for voting.
Funny how all the non-whites around me during those various times seem to have no problem with that trivial requirement.
But we all know the drill. Photo ID for voting = proof of KKK membership.

Paul Emeryt won’t answer because he is hypocrite. Milo did not really say a “pedo” information but it was close enough for some on the right to get really nervous. We usually boot that kind of person from power. Democrats though seem to promote those kinds of people. Even give them TV shows, like Spitzer.
I like Milo and though I do not defend anything pedo like Maher and Takai do, I defend his right to say whatever in the free speech we say we support. Paul Emery was in the TerryL camp and have we seen anything from him condemning him? Nope.
