Lord knows that Medicaide has soared in CA by 47% year over year and the State is struggling to pay 10% of the costs associated since CA loosened its qualifying eligibility.     Well, a few websites immediately after the fact mentioned that he was referring to some Tucker (You Can’t Cuck the Tuck!) Carlson show, the networks claimed he was LYING! about some sort of terrorist attack, The Man himself says he was talking (I think) about an ABC story. Believe what you like. There is no news anymore.
    I’ll tell what’s brilliant about this. Several (or more) million schlubs from flyover country just got interested in the situation in Sweden. There’s plenty out there to check out and it’ll suit Trump’s narrative. Genius if purposeful, but probably just some sentences that came out from a politician who speaks off-the-cuff at public appearances.
    That last point is darned remarkable in an age of committee-written lawyerese speechcraft. Just try doing a 1+ hour speech in front of a large crowd with this set of detailed notes:

Sadly, I have seen the reports coming out of Europe drop dramatically over the last year as criticism of Muslims is now prosecuted as hate speech. Mere criticism of a government’s immigration policy in and of itself is illegal and prosecuted in more Northetn Europe countries. Facebook has blocked all reporting of rape, violence, sodomy, assualt, robbery, and “worse”.
    Hate speech is the Left’s catch all phrase to shut down all debate (an information) from mainstream conservatives to Milo to Trump to fairness in reporting, to even UC Berkeley’s campus newspaper refusing to publish any letters that simply decry violence. It’s all justified because reporting a Muslim sodomized a 6 year old European girl in a public park in broad daylight is Hate Speech!
    The work around is to refer to the invaders as North Africans or “Asians”. Still, the news coming out has been shut down.

    What ever happened to the chemical weapons in Syria?
    Amazing how one off the cuff gaffe can change the dynamics of the Middle East. In Sept 2013, the US was pounding the war drums to launch a strike on Syria. Susan Rice was saying the missles were enroute and the Senate was set to vote of the war authorization the next day. Germany was on board, but Merkel was furious that Spain was not going along. The British Parilment had rejected their PM’s plan to join in on the military strikes of the Assad regime just 10 days before. The G-20 summit a week prior to Kerry’s gaffe mentioned nothing about any political resolution to getting rid of Assad. John McCain was advocating for an immediate military intervention. Obama was set to address the nation that night as the Navy readied its Tomahawk cruise missles. Then Kerry spoke.
    The result was Putin suddenly stepped in as a peace broker and instantly gave Russia equilibrium in the region. Putin was voted the most popular man on the planet and donned Man of the Year magazine covers. Everything changed just 2 days before the anniversary of 9/11, the day of the planned air strikes to begin.
    What a off the cuff comment resulted in is the fallout we face today. From the Syrian refugee mess, the explosion of the growth of ISIS, to Putin’s new found power and status on the world stage.
