   About Mexico, they still are a dirt poor nation no matter how we slice and dice it. And a very proud people. Very proud, like the Russian people and apparently the limies redcoats as well. The Redcoats are coming!
   Cooling off period is a good idea for the two heads of state for Mexico and the US. Worse case scenario is China moves in for all that free trade with Mexico. Mexico does have like 41 by-lateral trade agreements with other nations. But, they still are a dirt poor nation and we are their big big big #1 trading partner and prize.
   Enough high level discussions are going on and have never stopped between the US and Me-he-co. Behind the scenes. Need to separate the two issues of trade and the Wall.
   Personally, I don’t give a hoot who pays for the Wall. Just get ‘er done.
   Remember once we were being taken advantage by Japan. Killing us and blocking some of our imports while we were allowing their stuff in freely. Reagen gets up there and announces some tariffs on Japan. Exploding heads time. Japan was going to overtake the US and be the biggest economic powerhouse in the world. Trade War!!! Sky is falling. Hair on fire!
   So, I did a little poking around. We banned their TVs!!! Come to find out it was a weird size (like 22.5 inch or something) and Japan only sold around 200 of those in the US…ever. That wired size was for the European market. Anyway, everybody saved face and back to behind the scenes stuff.
   Remember boys and girls, the Wall violates no one’s civil rights.

   The first 3rd party President was arguably Lincoln in the then new Republican Party, who had bailed from the Whigs as they self destructed.
   There’s a fresh study that shows only 800,000 votes nationwide by illegals. Somehow, I don’t see that as supporting the Paul Emerys out there who think there should be proof before the Feds go looking for evidence.
   I expect the folks screaming bloody murder think illegal voters will be found if the government actually goes looking for them.

   This guy Trump has a serious ego problem. Apparently he personally called National Park Service director complaining the photo’s of the inauguration displayed what a puny crowd showed up. This guy is weird. Why was it so important to him? Bizarre and disturbing behavior from our Prez active.

Trump is negotiating with Mexico as we now know they called him this morning to discuss things. And the peso is tanking so that seems to be bringing them to the table. o far so good for Trump and the planet.

    This is what she said last week in her confirmation hearings whici sounded pretty reasonable. Perhaps she has a case of Trump Mouth-meaning don’s believe a word being said.

    Hey guys and lady, I need some help here. I have already run out of superlatives to describe the Meltdown. It’s like they have seven bowling balls coming at them all at once and they keep picking them up and dropping them on their foot and reach for another bowling ball and pick it up and drop it on their foot again! Oh my. Mr. President is a pinball wizard if there ever was one. Feel them bumpers, hit the flippers.
    Hate to see our fellow liberal Americans in such anguish, even mental anguish. It’s not like we want to physically harm them, but I do get a slight degree of satisfaction from the new superlative for meltdown. Slight because because I am a deplorable and have not yet fully spiritually evolved.
    Mia from Utah killed it today, from the rumor mill. Had all those smiling women in tears. Those be happy smiling women….the same evil doers who elected Trump. And get this….they pick up after themselves. Odd.
    BTW, Mia was a big Cruz supporter. Nikki never endorsed Trump either. All they had to say was I will vote for The Donald. Close enough. Smart move picking Pence. Very smart move. Chess Player still doing his thing behind the curtain, but he is next up for the Wrath of Bedwetting Nation.
    Flood the zone Mr. Trump. Got them spinning like Linda Blair’s head in the Exorcist. Best to watch out for that green split pea soup heading our way.

    It’s the health care issue where the frenetic pace of the Tangerine Tornados early days as president should slow dramatically. Don’t do anything substantive to repeal the Unaffordable Care Act….a few token gestures, an XO or two but nothing dramatic. Let this piece of shit die of natural causes under all the obligations that Sugar Frosted Barry O’s deferred until he was out of office start to crash on the beach as representatives return to their districts to start to get ready for election season. Make sure the electorate knows that Nancy, and “Manboobs” Schumer are standing in the way of legitimate healthcare reform because they want to preserve the thing. Things should really start to smell just before the mid terms and he’ll still be able to pin the whole mess on the democrats.
    There might be no democrap office holder above the mayoral level left to run against anywhere in the country by the 2020 election.

    We’re the only developed country that does not require ID to vote… some real information that there is rampant fraud would probably break the courts confusion between ID and suppression.
    How about we start allowing guns to be sold to people without ID… after all, a constitutional right is a constitutional right, and the anti-gunners are as adamant that they’re trying to suppress gun ownership as the KKK was about suppressing the black vote in their heyday.

    I’ll respond if Gregory tells me something about what the “fresh study” is. You gotta put a little effort out Gregory and not just throw anything out there without some kind of documentation.
    There always has been a few illegal votes and some are prosecuted.

    PaulE 525pm – Fair enough Paul; we await Gregory’s citation. However there was an analysis (by Heritage I believe) of a fairly random selection of 30K voter registrations that indicated about 3% of them were by non-citizens. The US has 146M+ registered voters. We can start scoping the election fraud problem by taking 3% of that number (4.4M) and whittling it down. The surviving sum is still large and needs a closer look by some blue blood panel. I still wonder why anyone would expose/perjure themselves by registering to vote and then not voting.

    Have you actually looked at the voter polls yourself and found that information? What is the source of your “rumor”?
    George, it is one thing to have a reasonable question as to voter fraud based on the look of a Libertarian leaning private organization and making a proclamation such as Trump did that he would have won the popular vote if illegals hadn’t supported Clinton. That’s a leap that you of all people with your mathematical background should find ludicrous and highly unlikely.
    That a leap that few Republicans are willing to fund and is not supported by the Speaker of the House anong others. He will have to take personal control of the investigation. Is it important enough in your view when the purpose is to gather information to bolster Trumps ego. He is an odd duck for sure.

    Then some legal professor says Ca. is safe. ” Trump can’t do that.” Well just who is he trying to kid? Hell yes Trump can cut off discretionary funds. The FEDS have done it in the past to “nudge” states into compliance. They did it for the push for the 55MPH speed limit.
    “55 or else!”. They did it to states for raising the drinking age from whatever it was, to 21. Looks like the Prof. was smoking something.
