[The pro/con outrages in the news about President Trump are filling up sandboxes even faster than usual. And the spate of eagerly published fake news stories that get retracted regularly now are keeping several pots boiling in the intervals. gjr]

Trump Approval Rating — 39% to 59% in a week, that is Energizer Bunny progress.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 59% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-one percent (41%) disapprove.
    Wait until next week!

There are no longer any checks and balances with the far right in control of Congress, the White house, and the Supreme court. The court is supposed to be the final check on the politicians, but it is (will be) stuffed with far right thinking ideologues who have been hand picked just for this occasion. The environment is going to take a hit it may not be able to recover from. Perhaps trump is the anti-christ of Bible fame and the apocalypse is what is going to happen to the flora and fauna from climate change and pollution.

Looks like Trump is doing some heavy butt kicking already. And for poll watchers his numbers are on the rise! He is a doer. Why Paul Emery supports fraud in our elections is really sad. We should all be concerned. But since the left are the ones doing it to such a great degree we can see why they want to do nothing.
The EPA employees came to work and cried a river about Trump’s putting the skids on them. And after a couple of hours those EPA criers were fined for creating a wetlands in DC.
And apparently some State Department folks quit today. Yay! Let’s get a handle on America first. These people can pound sand.

Just wondering, does anyone agree with me that Merrick Garland might be a perfect nominee for Trump’s second SCOTUS nominee? Ginsberg’s time is limited and while I do not wish illness, her health may be as shaky as her best friend on the court, the late Justice Scalia and her time may be short.
I think that would put the average Democrat in the position of a devout Christian Scientist with appendicitis. It would allow a Trump to make the court less left-liberal but put left-liberals in the Senate in a difficult position were they to try to bork him.
Borking, we should all remember, is what Biden and the least of the Kennedy Bros. did when Reagan nominated perhaps the shining star of conservative jurisprudence, Robert Bork, because they didn’t want a moderate replaced with a Bork who everyone expected could demolish the arguments for landmark decisions such as Roe v. Wade.
The eventual nominee was the moderate Justice Kennedy, a fine legal mind but a Bork he was not.

The EPA has a budget of 8 billion and 15,000 direct employees, cut baby cut! Trumps EPA transition guy said to start with halving the number of employees then whittle down the rest over time. Block grants to states with a small staff to do the paperwork is all that is needed. 😉

Miami has reversed its sanctuary city policy. Reuters showed NY would lose 700 million, LA and murder capitol Chicago would each lose almost a half a billion in federal funds. That’s a big hole in tight budgets. I read that CA gets somewhere near 10 % of its budget from the feds. How is grandpa jerry gonna deal with that on top of the current year $1.9 billion CA deficit? 😉

I saw an analysis that pointed out that the Trump admin. has a law on the books to use as a hammer, it bans non-citizens from transferring money overseas. They could threaten to cut off ALL remittances from illegals and fall back to a remittance fee on everyone that would quickly pay for the wall. Lots of options, but the boarder will finally be secured. 😉

Don, a tax on wire transfers of remittances could be a start. This will take time to feel comfortable with new policies and old laws on the books for enforcement agencies. Illegal Alien Criminals in prison are the low hanging fruit. They are not going anywhere. Eventually we need to get to a good orderly system of legal immigration, temporary and permanent.
The “Muslim Moratorium” is just a 120 day pause to get a system in place and have everybody ready to go with the new ideas. Remember, an attack now happens on Trump’s watch. The latest attacks have come from second generation Muslims that became radicalized here. That may never change.
All in all, looking down the road and seeing the global migration north, the Wall will have to be built anyway, in one form or another. One big drought, economic collapses, or bloody civil wars in South America will send millions more north. And more migration from the Eastern Hemisphere is routing its way thru South and Central America to then head north. Ironically, Mexico is the most dangerous leg of the journey. Best to plan ahead. Better to have orderly processes than a chaotic mess.

Not so sorry to burst your bubble PE but the President is on record saying that IF Russia does certain things in the future there could be consideration of some relaxing down the road. He has not done anything to slow the new ones either. Much of what he does on many issues is to set the stage for tough negotiations.
Mexico has no bullets in a trade war, they hold a massive trade surplus with us which makes them vulnerable. Factor in the remittance issue and we have them by the throat. Lets not forget the Mexican government facilitated tons of central and south American illegal aliens. They enforce their southern boarder ruthlessly. They started giving transit papers to illegals that expedited their travel to the northern Mexican boarder to cross here illegally. The cartels have subverted all the Mexican states in the boarder region.
You gotta love the swamp draining, 0’s boarder patrol chief, fired. All of 0/Kerry/madam liar liar pantsuits on fires lackeys at State are GONE! Too many draining’s to list! Don’t worry for them, they will get professorships at left wing schools. 😉

BT- Normal, skill based immigration would be a nice place to end up. There should be a sliding scale of how many get in that is tied to economic stats like the number of capable citizens out of the workforce. If we have close to a 100 million out of the workforce we need to scale back the numbers of new arrivals until we get back to normal numbers for citizens. 😉

President-elect Donald Trump lost by only 27,000 votes statewide in Nevada. So 9,200 fraudulent voters in one small Assembly district is more than 1/3 of the total margin that Trump lost by.

    More on Nevada
As bad as that is, the problem is much worse. Mr. Vaughan has the Election Department cumulative daily voter turnout rolls in which some serious and impossible anomalies were found to exist. Through November 2nd the reports indicated that 10,000 people in his district had voted and as of two days later another 2,466 had voted. However, 1,900 votes by independents, 3rd party and non-partisan voters disappeared in that two day period of time.
At the same time another 3,200 increase in Democrat turnout was registered while 1,000 Republicans are shown to have voted. The total number of votes recorded during that two day period was 2, 466. There’s no way the number of votes cast could have decreased without fraud being involved and the totals simply don’t match up. Somebody is monkeying with the system and generating 180% voter turnout as well.

He listed all those things he wanted to do and he is now doing them. 65 million Americans said let’s give him a chance to restore America from the hands of you left-wingers. Bring back sanity to America and boot the policies of the worst President in my lifetime. America is so great that we can endure the terrible governance of a socialist like Obama and then bounce back to sanity with Trump and do it without bloodshed.

“First, notice the stark contrast between the two styles of outrage against the elections of political nemeses from both sides of the aisle. Eight years ago, Barack Obama was elected and the Republican Right went on a two-term anal-retentive binge stopping up the wheels of government in their hatred of Obama and all he stood for. McConnell, Boehner, Cruz, Bush, McCarthy, etc; for nearly three thousand nights we were subjected to a sanctimonious parade of rich white arch-conservative males smirking into news cameras and pontificating about “American values” and the economic “bottom line” (as they clogged the legislative process with their “Party of No”). People, this was not the red hot forge of a living democracy. This was the dead zone.”

This is how It is going to be for a long time. A day or two of riding that bull through the wall with Fish swinging on the wrecking ball above and we all fist pumping in the air, then full blown barrage of blowback. There is a pattern and rhythm to all this. Action, reaction, or action, pause while the last gaspers recover from having the air knocked out them…then full blown assault from land and sea and air 24/7…for a couple of days.
And just when it seems like they are getting their footing, President Trump to the rescue.

Me thinks rational based discussions of issues cannot take place in this emotional environment. Like, they just go on and on and on….blah, blah, blah. Remember, therapy needed two months after Milo told them the reason they ban together as Social Justice Warriors is because they are so unfun that nobody else on campus wants to be around them. They still have not recovered. And Trump does not have Milo’s charming style. This is going to take awhile. Some people don’t do change gracefully.

Don’t say I didn’t tell you so. Payback time. Great foreign policy. Cuddle up to our enemies and alienate our friends (Mexico)
Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump are likely to discuss the sanctions that Washington imposed on Russia over the conflict in Ukraine when the two leaders speak by telephone on Saturday, a senior White House aide said.
Trump has said in the past that, as part of a rapprochement he is seeking with Russia, he is prepared to review sanctions that his predecessor, Barack Obama, imposed on Russia over its 2014 annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea Peninsula.
Trump senior aide Kellyanne Conway said in U.S. television interviews on Friday that Trump and Putin would likely discuss a range of issues, including joint efforts to combat terrorism.
Asked on FOX News’s “Fox & Friends” program to comment on suggestions that the Obama administration sanctions would be on the agenda, Conway said: “All of that is under consideration.”

Trump doesn’t even have Republican support for an “investigation” into voter fraud. An example (besides Ryan)
“This basically undermines the idea of an election, this undermines the Constitution,” said Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R – IL),“If you really believe that there were 3 million to 5 million illegal votes, please share that proof. Show us how.”
Proof is crucial, Kinzinger noted, because you need to convince people who might be skeptical of your claims — and not just those who already agree with you.
“Because when you just attack it and say, ‘I’ll show you proof eventually,’ or you say, ‘Hey, look, just trust me on this one,’ you get some people who believe it because of confirmation bias,” he explained. “But at the end of the day, you have to show proof of that. You have to show why you’re undermining the Constitution of the United States… Show us the proof before you make the accusation.”
