The ground shaking shock of 8 November 2016 is not going away; it is getting stronger if anything. And as Team Trump unveils more of its projected policies and planned programs, America’s socialists along with their well-placed elites are getting more and more scared. Why? Because with each described initiative it looks like Trump will be able to pull off much of what he promised, what his constituents expect, and what even more Americans will see as the real change they have been waiting for since 2008. If this comes to pass, Democrats and the Alt-Left know their narrative will be exposed along with all the other socialist narratives since Das Kapital.
But this time it will be different because today the word gets out much more quickly and more powerfully (social media, pictures, videos, graphics, podcasts, …), so that even the intellectually challenged and attention span deficient will get the message that central plans based on other people’s money don’t work well, and that Leviathan must be tamed.
So even before President-elect Trump gets inaugurated we are flooded with news and reports of the Left attempting to organize like they have never organized before. Their various factions are pulling out all the stops in their desperation to avoid becoming irrelevant for a generation or two. The industry and energy in this enterprise is something to behold and the strongest testament that restoring liberty, enterprise, freer markets, lower taxes, fewer regulations, and the Constitution is most likely the best medicine for the ills which ail us all. And allowing that to be put to the test is the biggest no-no of all.
The Democrats in Congress are screaming themselves hoarse in opposition to the expected turn-about tactics they smugly initiated when they ruled the roost. What is humorous is that these pinhead politicians today charge that doing such dastardly deeds against them will then suddenly violate ethics, morals, and the very core values of our society. Meetings are ongoing between the various lamestream media outlets, Hollywood, union bosses, and perpetual grant recipients to devise new means to thwart the Republicans, since clearly the old methods did not work given the electoral tsunami that has left them gasping. They are even paying tribute to conservative initiatives and tactics of the past years, taking ‘pages out of the playbooks of the Tea Party, separation movements, and conservative grass roots organizations’ to fashion the stratagems soon to be unleashed across the land.
It will be interesting to watch the so-called ‘non-partisan’ NGOs come out of the woodwork and declare their true colors, kinda like in the old days when on the high seas the pirates approached a merchantman under the flag of a legitimate nation and then suddenly hoisted the Jolly Roger when escape was impossible. A particularly nasty piece being planned is the ‘Women’s March on Washington’ to be held along with other leftwing demonstrations on Inauguration Day. These protests against our peaceful traditions of legitimately transferring power from one administration to the next, instead of being celebrated, are coordinated by the Democrats and will be held in cities across America. The one in Washington DC is projected to draw over 200,000 women alone. Our local leftwingers will bus to Sacramento to make their voices heard. Wasn’t it not too long ago that any civil gathering of the Tea Party and other conservative groups was vilified as a coming together of people loutish, ignorant, and definitely un-American?
As we have seen, when those of the Right gather somewhere, they leave the place cleaner than when they found it. That does not comport with leftwing demonstrations which also demonstrate their values and mores by illegal disruptions, destruction of property, violence, and leaving their fields of filth behind as calling cards. So we will have an opportunity to see if they have really taken enough pages out of rightwing playbooks for civil political opposition. So far their organizers, both in and out of government, promise to diminish, denigrate, deny, and disrupt everything from the Trump White House and the Republican Congress.
In the end, we are promised that what we will not see repeated is that the party out of power will advance their own well-defined legislative proposals for consideration and for all to see like the Republicans did since they lost Congress in 2006 and the presidency in 2008. Instead the Democrats are threatening four years of civil disorder to further separate us. It was ever thus when socialists get pissed.
