Dear reader, if my vindicated contempt for the Leftโ€™s protesting our election results with street demonstrations and riots shows, then you will have correctly deduced my mindset regarding these know-nothings be they of the planned-and-paid-for or spontaneous kind.  As the dust begins to settle, some very telling stats are being compiled on the devastation that this election delivered to what will remain of Obamaโ€™s legacy and the Democratic Party (more here).  I am still looking for one single thing benefiting our country that was delivered by Team Obama.

The motley make-up of Hillaryโ€™s supporters caused some unnecessarily raised eyebrows on the Right.  Perhaps most puzzling to many people was the support she received from many seeming free-market capitalists in Silicon Valley.  The puzzle quickly disappears when the background and corporate interests of these large technology companies are considered.  The major companies are dyed-in-the-wool corporatists who have been working closely for years with a federal government for a globalist future premised on the demise of a world order based on Westphalian sovereign nation-states.  They best of all understand how immune from the regulatory and tax policies of a partnering government they will be in these pre-Singularity years. (more here)

The useful idiots demonstrating against Trumpโ€™s and the Republicansโ€™ victories have no idea that they are the manipulated minions of the countryโ€™s miscreant party.  In government schools the history of the Democratic Party has been reformulated where possible and expunged where not.  It is safe to say that only a minuscule fraction of Americans are familiar with the issues and policies that the Democratic Party has promoted and defended since they came into being under President Andrew Jackson.  Most of us are ignorant of the Democrats (north and south) as being the defenders of slavery, the founders and backbone of the KKK, implementers of Jim Crow segregation, champions of eugenics and social Darwinism, students of fascist European economies, opponents of womenโ€™s rights, โ€ฆ the list goes on.  In the aggregate, the Republicans were on the other side of every one of these issues, and then came the Big Switch.  (A fully referenced summary, can be found in the recent (2016) Hillaryโ€™s America โ€“ The Secret History of the Democratic Party by Dinesh Dโ€™Souza.  And here I invite refutation of the historical citations and not an ad hominem denigration of the messenger.)

As previously recorded in these pages, the Democrats became civil rights champions with the advent of President Lyndon Johnsonโ€™s Great Society programs โ€“ a potpourri of public policies enacted into the most cynically enforced laws the country has seen, laws designed to institutionalize โ€˜the plantationโ€™ for the unwitting and pre-educated blacks and other minorities โ€“ the governmentโ€™s own statistics tell the tale.  The Great Society was grounded on shibboleths taught by modern Marxists like Saul Alinsky in his 1971 Rules for Radicals wherein Rule #1 was to turn the tables and accuse your opposition of the exact same iniquities of which you yourself are guilty.   This tactic gained facility with the Leftโ€™s co-opting of state schools and our Fourth Estate.  Today an established plank of common wisdom is that Democrats are the good guys for the working people, and the Republicans are the bad guys assuring the fortunes of the evil 1%. Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton are both the ideological scions of Saul Alinsky.

No one should take from here that I would refuse anyoneโ€™s right to peacefully protest anything to their heartโ€™s content as long as they donโ€™t illegally gum up the process and progress of civil society which in America is founded on mores and values formalized in the US Constitution.  Last I looked, this election was fair and legal with an outcome guaranteed to displease half of a very ideologically divided country.

What divides us the most is that half of us would like to overturn our constitutional government and remake our country into a borderless globalist region retaining โ€˜Americaโ€™ as its label only for geographical convenience and continuity.  The people in the streets and their elitist sponsors want to tear down what I have spent my life working to build up.  Sadly, these people are no more โ€˜my fellow Americansโ€™ than are me and mine theirs.  Now it is time for all of us to honor our history and exceptionalism, and let the established peaceful transfer of power take place.

[Later] The highly organized anti-Trump protests continued today.  I recall that after the obviously incompetent and inexperienced Section 8 president was elected in 2008, the Right just hunkered down to plan its preparations for the next election.  An immediate result was the spontaneous formation of Tea Parties across the land which later united into several national political organizations that worked to elect a Republican House in 2010, and then continued on to bring about a Republican Congress in 2014.  Jo Ann and I were part of the committee that formed one of the nation’s seminal Tea Parties right here in Nevada County under the leadership of Mark and father Stan Meckler.  We didn’t protest Obama’s election even though we knew it would be a giant backward step for America.  The election was legal and that was that.  Our job was to work the established political protocols of our land and do our best in the next election.  However, that approach has never been the response of the Left here and around the world โ€“ violence and disruption has always been part and parcel of their tactics when legitimate political action fails.

TrumpProtesters

[Later still]  The Bullshit Department โ€“ itโ€™s always good to revisit it from time to time.  Besides being woefully wrong, the pollsters and pundits lectured us for months that Hillary was the candidate of the intellectually blessed, and only the double dummies would vote for Trump.  And that would be doubly true for women, especially those who could hold down a job in the workplace.

Well, as the election results continue to roll in and are analyzed, the truth is quite different from the output of the progressivesโ€™ perpetual propaganda pump.  It turns out that Trump garnered 49% of the college gradsโ€™ votes to Hillaryโ€™s 45%.  And working women overwhelmingly went for Trump over Hillary 62% to 38%.  It is left as an exercise to determine the aggregate qualifications of those who voted for Mrs Clinton.

In looking at these results, Democrat pundits now acknowledge that the progressives tacked too far left too quickly.  What goes unsaid but not unnoticed by the astute observer is that the Left again let out how extreme are its ultimate political goals and its driving ideology.

[14nov16 update]  The lamestream media has not given up on Trump, conservatives, Republicans, and everyone else they see slowing down America on its appointed road to being governed by a socialist leviathan.  The so-called balanced โ€˜news reportsโ€™ from the Associated Press to our local Union continue their blatant ideological editorializing.  This morningโ€™s AP report on staffing the Trump White House is another thinly veiled hit piece on the new Republican administration (here).

AP correspondent Julie Pace who contributed to the story is a frequent FN panelist.  There she comes across as a balanced mid-roader that bears no relation to what she writes at her day job.  I have found that also to be the case with similar guest panelists who are journalists for NYT, WaPo, โ€ฆ .  The message and its delivery is customized to the audiences.

For openers, the Left and its light-thinking terminally progressive journalists have created and launched โ€œwhite nationalismโ€ as the new pejorative label defining its (here, note the references) ideology as based on fascism, Nazism, and cozy with the KKKโ€™s founding tenets.  If you happen to be Caucasian and believe in the continued sovereignty of the United States, you are branded a white nationalist with all the implied baggage that this carries.  Beyond the journalists, our population of thought-optional snowflakes are the first demographic to swallow full weight of this appellation hook, line, and sinker.

Trumpโ€™s picking Breitbartโ€™s Steve Bannon to a senior WH staff position is the newest post-election cause cรฉlรจbre to assure that the nationโ€™s ideological schism continues to grow.  HufPost pulls no punches โ€“ โ€œAt Breitbart, Bannon helped make the hardline populist website a go-to resource for white nationalists and the alt-right, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups.โ€ (emphasis mine)

Locally this soft leftwing vitriol is picked up by our own Union columnist and RR reader, George Boardman.  Now to be accurate, Mr Boardmanโ€™s column makes no obvious attempt to be fair and balanced โ€“ he is a man with strong progressive predilections and hopes that you will be bathed in the same light that illuminates his world.  No shame in that; Iโ€™ve been known to cobble a few words together now and then for the same purpose.  But these pages do contain some of Mr Boardmanโ€™s critiques that undeniably imply that he is a man who seldom strays from the middle or has a strong ideological perspective.

Todayโ€™s Boardman column in the 14nov16 Union (here) is a stark illustration of this assessment of leftwing journalism.  His piece on the electionโ€™s winners and losers describes the reaction of rightwing โ€œmilitia groupsโ€ converging on Washington if Trump had lost the election.  He states that โ€œthe election was riggedโ€ since the popular vote didnโ€™t determine the winner โ€“ well yes, the Foundersโ€™ electoral college purposely has rigged the system as a democratic republic based on the federalized states to specifically avoid giving us a popular vote destroying democracy.  Mr Boardman is no dummy and knows this; however through his critique he exposes his preferences for Americaโ€™s future.

He goes on to imply that President-elect Trump is a borderline idiot with whom โ€œthere is a possibility that (he) will realize he now has the most serious job in the world โ€ฆโ€.  Mr Boardman dismisses the actual email evidence that condemned Donna Brazileโ€™s role with the DNC and CNN, instead spinning it as her โ€œallegedly passing debate questions to Clintonโ€ and therefore sharing the blame for Hillaryโ€™s defeat.  And then we have the gratuitous slap at Senate majority leader McConnell who is accused of taking an unnamed and โ€œunprincipled positionโ€ which is โ€œalways the best one to take when it comes to politics.โ€

Our indefatigable columnist then fingers Breitbart and Drudge Report for failing some on-high imposed but never claimed standards of โ€œfairnessโ€ which resulted in biases that were missed by the seemingly guileless and fair-minded mainstream media.  And then he delivers his coup de grace โ€“ โ€œMaybe weโ€™re evolving toward the European model, where you pick your media based on your political affiliation.โ€ (my emphasis)  There is little I can say in response to this massive insight other than, โ€˜Welcome to planet Earth Mr Boardman where it was ever thus.โ€™

None of the above should be taken to imply that George Boardman is not a gentleman who labors diligently in the vineyards of dispensing progressive thought as he has every right to do.  In these pages we are blessed by the breadth and vision he brings to this sometimes chaotic forum.  And to put a bow on it, my own thoughts on โ€˜fair and balancedโ€™ can be found here.

The Electoral College works. The small states have a say. If it is removed (not gonna happen) then the country would be run by the two coasts people. All others get nothing. The founders knew this so live with it.

Our white protesters up in this neck of the woods are marching in solidarity with living people far far far away in the stink, the crime, the violence. It’s adorable! We up here are progressives and preach love. Down in the barrio, they are liberals. Liberals are sooooo violent. We protest the white way, lol. Opps, was that too ghetto? Me bad. GeorgeB 418pm – Over a couple of centuries we’ve had many occasions to confirm that the American presidency is a fault tolerant job that in which intelligent yet inexperienced people can render satisfactory service. With Obama we have witnessed a presidency with eight years of OJT which does not appear to have taken.
(Re WH job replacements surprising Trump – that is another lamestream shot at someone who has been candid with reporters. No such surprises would ever have been reported about Obama’s WH initiation – people who think otherwise are called Democrats. And fear not, the WH staff has two distinct cadres – political and non-political – the latter, including the Secret Service, maintain and operate the facility’s infra-structure and are not replaced. The political appointees can’t be replaced quickly enough, and you can bet the ranch that this didn’t surprise Trump. However, the number of those people would surprise anyone who is not to the left of Harry Truman.)

Walt @ 5:22pm. Good call. The Trump presidency just might exceed even my expectations. I figured if he could get 3 out of every 10 policies through Congress, I would be tickled pink. Washington itself seems like an unmovable mountain. But, I am greatly encouraged, greatly encouraged my man. Plus, Obama hates Trump and still is in denial. Expect more hogwash coming from O’s people. A lot more. They will lie, spread disinformation, rumors, mischaracteriations, and lie some more rather than accept the fact that the nation has repudiated all of Obama’s ideology.
Once read a great piece out of Australia about the Obama psychic. The background was Obama going down under, deliberately dissing the Prime Minister, and calling a meeting with college students without the host country’s approval or foreknowledge. In fact, he called together an event opposed by the Australian government, our strongest and most reliable alley in the region, if not the world. This is when the Conservatives took back power in the land down under.
The gist of the article was this: you can disagree with Obama on politics and he was OK with that. But, if you disagree with Obama on ideology, he will hate you. And hate you he will.
Obama is in denial. While Americans voted for him, the same voters voted against the Dems. His party is out of power and decimated. It’s in shambles. They only control about 17 state houses and 18 governorships (jury is still out on 2 pending governor openings). The most likely option the Dems will take from here is to move more to the left, closer to the exact policies and ideologies that the American voter has rejected increasingly more over the last decade. Yes, in the final analysis, it was all about Obama. It was all about him. Not the Dems, not their future, but Obama himself.
Thus, Walt, Obama still thinks he is the smartest man in the room. Therefore Obama will continue to give Trump backhanded digs. He will blame Dems for not campaigning everywhere (read blame Hillary, not him or his ideology) and will leave office in over two months still in denial, still unable to see his ideology is what the voters rejected, still thinking he is so much smarter than Trump and the voters, and still in denial. Expect a flurry of more Trump just fell off the turnip truck stories.
Meanwhile, Trump is an incredibly quick learner and will keep his mouth shut until he is really to take over on Jan. 20. Then, he will send a message where messages are needed to be sent. Just like Reagen sent a message to Qaddafi by putting a missile through his bedroom window at 2:00 AM, Trump will send his messages as well. No need to invade a country like Libya, just send the right message. The sound of exploding heads on the Left will be drowned out by actions that speak louder than words. Just like last Tuesday night. Oh, denial is such a wicked ingrained phenomenon to the haughty.

They are spoiled children; ill-mannered, ill-bred, weak, ignorant, and stupid. They are historically illiterate. They have no idea of how the world really works. The only ideas they have outside of the fever swamps contained within their neutronium-dense skulls, filled to the brim with professorial sewage, are the kind of ideas that can only survive inside the echo chamber of a safe space.2 They are, frankly, disgusting, and the similarities between them and actual human beings are minimal. Morally, intellectually, spiritually, they are cockroaches. Were it not that some of them are possibly larval stage human beings, creatures who may eventually grow up to be actual human beings, there would be little or no moral component to gassing them.3
I mean, sure, the younger generation, every younger generation, not least mine, has been somewhat childlike until well past the onset of puberty. Indeed, the consensus of neuroscientists now seems to be that our brains arenโ€™t actually adult until we reach our mid-twenties, or even later.4 But the lefty portion of this one is just special, in much the same way that kids riding the short bus are special.

Hillary on election night was straight-up Hitler-in-the-bunker shit. It even included psychotic screaming about โ€œthe Russians.โ€ The doctor helped restrain Hillary when she violently attacked Mook and Podesta at midnight. Gave sedatives, then amphetamines next morning. CNN reporter says Hillary needed so many amphetamines Wed morning she had unexpected nosebleeds all day. Fear was sheโ€™d bleed at concession. Gregory, how true about dignity. Grant let Lee’s men keep their rifles and go on home. We must be somewhat gracious in victory as well as defeat. Thus my “take a couple months off” suggestion, but it is so hard to do. That kinder gentler America with a 1,000 points of light looked good on paper.

I am now in the mental process of extending PC backlash to censoring the act of calling a Islamic terrorist an Islamic terrorist, both at home and abroad. A topic much discussed here. Remember Loretta Lynch withholding and editing the 9/11 tapes from the Orlando Pulse mass murder? Remember her saying more hugs and love needed in the world as the answer to the question “what was the mass murderer’s motivation?” Guess they are still searching for the elusive motivation. And to put the icing on the PC cake, our Justice Department forbids the FBI from conducting interviews with Muslims living here (with few exceptions). No can do that “hateful” thang. But, if the investigators must interview a Muslim person of interest or his/her relative, they must have CAIR present and now CAIR is the de facto spokesmen for the Justice Department on such matters. Draining the Swamp of this Justice Department is priority number one for me.
With that said, back to the fun dirty mudslinging. :). At least they had IDs.

    Oh Brad, Brad, Brad:
Lest we all gang up on Brad C, this is a good time to bear in mind that we won the White House by a very slim margin. Very divided election. We will be one the short end of the stick in due time. That is how politics works. With that said, “eat this, ass wipe”.

Now, How do we ease others’ fear and tribulation about Trump? We can change minds, but not emotions. Reminds me of back in my lib days when I was managing a place for the down and out, society’s scorned if you will. The county was receiving complaints from God fearing residents in the neighborhood about the element the refuge from the mean streets was attracting. The conditional use permit was up for renewal and we one big sitting targett. Hours of operation, lighting, no one sleeping in cars in the parking lot, no one working on broken down Jalopies in front, etc, were easy fixes. But the most vocal opponent was a lady who lived the furthest down the tree lined street. She said that when people walked by her house, she “felt apprehension.”
She felt apprehension? Now, what do you do with that??? What is the agrument to relieve her fear? No use doing studies proving that the vast majority of people who walked down that street did not frequent our place in question. No use at all. Waste of time.
The one quote from Hillary that was true Hillary the Wonk, the true Hillary that we seldom saw was when she met with BLM right after they first showed up at Bernie’s rally and threaten to disrupt her rallies/town halls. She told them you “cannot change hearts but you can change laws.” Hmmm. What to do with people who are fearful of Trump??
They have a trust issue with Trump and I have a trust issue with them.

Time to grow up. Back in the day when young adults felt tension and anxiety, instead of Play-Dough and hot cocoa, we masterbated. Safe sex was merely a bonus. What is it with these Snowflakes? They need some of that good old fashioned rugged individualism..

Heidi Hall’s alma mater illegally paid the expenses for students to participate in an anti-Trump rally and provided a phone number to an on-call dean to help if they got arrested.

While on his latest apology tour today 0 told the European elites that the constant flow of information is undermining their globalist agenda. Aw poor babies, the great unwashed now know too damn much and don’t buy the globalists bullshit. 0 should go bitch slap Al Gore since he invented the internet, right?

Don. O is in Greece to bail them out. They want to live like we do. Nothing against the Greek people, blah, blah, blah, but why should we be bailing them out. Let them go beg to China which is awash in cash.
Breaking news: this warms the cockles of me weary heart.

Now you’re doing what they do… it isn’t even on the line between amoral and evil.
I fully expect they thought they were doing good fighting the good fight against the bigotry, homophobia, racism etc etc that the media had been hyping for a year. The concept that the college was a non-profit barred from such political activity probably didn’t even cross anyone’s mind. I gather it’s now an issue they are aware of.
