‘The Press Buries Clinton’s Sins’ writes WSJ’s Kim Strassel as she outlines the overwhelmingly one-sided reporting “as reporters focus on Trump, the miss new details on Clinton’s rotten record.” By “miss” she means pernicious failure to report the daily mounting evidence that defines the public record of Hillary’s actions, actions which for others have brought criminal prosecutions and jail time. In its vigorous promotion of Hillary campaign, the electorate receives a completely one-sided picture of the candidates. The Fourth Estate today functions as a proxy Fifth Column for Team Clinton.
The press does similar dirty work when it comes to reporting on its claim of calamitous ‘climate change’. Dr Bjorn Lomborg of the Copenhagen Consensus exposes just one of the many facets of yellow journalism run rampant to promote its progressive political agenda. In his recent article – ‘About Those Non-Disappearing Pacific Islands’ – he highlights the actual data on Pacific Island land areas during the last half century and examines how the hysteria is being promoted and taken advantage of in the US trust territory of the Marshall Islands which have been featured in media coverage of climate change. Lomborg, in a peer reviewed paper, reveals that “residents are leavine the Marshall Islands, but not because of climate change. Hype and exaggeration serve no one.” About the dynamics of the Pacific islands’ land area, in the aggregate their land areas have remained unchanged or have increased. You won’t read any of that in what amounts to progressive pulp fiction.
Examples such as these abound, but you get the idea.
