   Well, entrants may have competed but they can’t have done very well or they’d be bounced. That means I could enter in a salute to mediocrity, but I think I’ll pass.
   Here’s an alternate view, but an actual insider to American Marksman is among the commenters at the bottom. I wish them well, but if there was to be a TV show, I’d rather see actual coverage of Olympic shooting events. NBC didn’t do that.

   The press has it all wrong again. They don’t want he Chelsea, Bill, and Madame Secretary Foundation shut down because of wholesale Pay for Play. Selling access is what the Clinton’s have been about since Arkanas. Heck, the first thing they did in Washington was rent out the Lincoln Bedroom. That is how the Clintons roll.
   Nope, there are calls to shudder the front doors of the Clinton Foundation because and ONLY because it helps Trump. Same with stories of Clinton’s health, her lack of achievements, her sleaze, her lies, her breaking the laws, her insatiable greed, her lust for power, and tortured need to be adored. Heck, any honest coverage of Grandma helps Trump, ROFLMAO.

   For the cross wind, notice the disparity between the blind polls and the live polls? Social pressure has been shown to be a factor in that people do not want to tell a stranger they are going to vote against the PC tide. Much like the brexit polls. HUFFPRO, HA!

    Our country will absolutely be worse off under Clinton.
    Obvious reason. The news media is so totally in the tank for Shrillary. They now openly admit it’s their duty to support her for our highest office.
    And once in office, the real fun begins. And what will our friends in the ‘forth estate’ be doing?
    They can’t suddenly start investigating her. The corruption will be beyond anything we’ve ever experienced.
    At least with a Trump presidency, we’ll have a thousand eyes watching over all aspects of his admin to help keep it honest.
    The Clintons are just coin-operated crooked pols of the worst kind.
    All of the Clinton scare mongering about Trump over-turning Roe v Wade is just blather. He can’t do it. The Dems have cried ‘wolf’ too many times.
    Remember that Reagan was supposed to start a nuclear war and so on. All they have against Trump is name calling. I’ve proven that on this site over and over.
    Yes, we’ve lost no matter who wins because our country got fat, dumb and happy for waaaay to long.
    We don’t know (collectively) how to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Way over our heads in debt and way too many promises we can’t possibly keep.

    At least under a Trump Administration I won’t have to ask permission to celebrate America’s unique greatness because that might hurt someone’s feelings because they don’t believe a word of it.
    Finally we knuckledraggers are sending up someone who we did not get permission from the Dems first. ” Is He ok? You want us to nominate that one? Will you finally like us if we send up your approved Republican nominee? Oh, was that offensive? Is it ok to say “I like my country, Masta?”
    Enough of that noise. Look, The Clinton ruthless sleaze machine had left a long wide never ending trail of slime and scandal since the Little Rock days. Actually, Hillary’s valedictorian speech in college ruffled some feathers when the speech she submitted to the college was nothing like the speech she gave attacking the Republican Senator who just happened to be was the keynote speaker to the graduating class. That is her first big lie and embodiment of deceit, IMHO, until her Watergate Committee firing for taking records home….until she…..3-107
    Putting politics and policy and ideolog aside, a Clinton Presidency would guarantee a minimum 10 years straight of investigations, scandals, corruption, favoritiortism, blah, blah, blah. Just that alone does not bode well for our Nation, our Country, the Home of the free. Why put our country through than again? Already we got Vince Foster’s suicide investigation files missing from the Nat’l Archives, the hanky panky at State, at The Foundation, criminal probes by Congress amoung others, secrets missing, secrets found in remarkable places….it’s never ending with the Clintons. Never ending.

    Note to dear reader. Since Walt and I don’t do the e-mail thing, please indulge me briefly.
    Mystery solved. That hairy wild boar with no tusks is a neighbor’s pet. The owner files down the tusks and it is a family pet that comes in the house and his kid even rides it around. Calls him Wilbur. Sleeps inside , but has a knack for getting out. Very intelligent, obviously more than our Proggie posters.
    The reason Wilbur made a bee line for me when I shone the flashlight on him/her was because his owner feeds him late at night and takes the flashlight out to the food shed to get his grub. Thus, each time I hit the hairy beast with the light, he came straight at me. Remember, I was wearing only socks and undies and carrying only a pin light….my excuse for running inside. So my eyes did not deceive me and I am glad I did not harm the smart mammal and ate the beast up. More proof that my killing days are done. I wouldn’t hurt a fly….they are too quick to get them all anyway.

    New study confirms ‘solar activity has a direct impact on Earth’s cloud cover’ important to climate change
    A new study confirms “solar variations affect the abundance of clouds in our atmosphere,” a solar amplification mechanism which is the basis of Svensmark’s theory of cosmo-climatology.
    The solar eruptions are known to shield Earth’s atmosphere from cosmic rays. However the new study, published in Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, shows that the global cloud cover is simultaneously reduced, supporting the idea that cosmic rays are important for cloud formation. The eruptions cause a reduction in cloud fraction of about 2 percent corresponding to roughly a billion tonnes of liquid water disappearing from the atmosphere.
    As Dr. Roy Spencer notes,
    “The most obvious way for warming to be caused naturally is for small, natural fluctuations in the circulation patterns of the atmosphere and ocean to result in a 1% or 2% decrease in global cloud cover. Clouds are the Earth’s sunshade, and if cloud cover changes for any reason, you have global warming — or global cooling.”
    The IPCC models fail to consider multiple solar amplification mechanisms, including cosmic rays andnumerous other amplification mechanisms, thereby ignoring that solar activity can explain the 0.7C global warming since the end of the Little Ice Age in 1850. Solar activity reached a grand maximum in the latter half of the 20th century, and accumulated solar energy (the ‘sunspot integral’) explains global temperature change since 1900 with greater than 97% statistical significance. This new paper confirms that solar activity variation can account for a 2% variation in global cloud cover, sufficient to explain the warming of the 20th century and without any consideration of CO2 “radiative forcing.”

    Two of my favorite physicists as co-authors… Henrik Svensmark and Nir Shaviv. It was Figure 8 in Svensmark’s 2007 Cosmoclimatology article in Astronomy & Geophysics that turned me on to Shaviv’s (with geochemist Jan Veizer) “Celestial driver of Phanerozoic climate?” paper from 2003, which cemented my skepticism in early 2007.

    It should be noted that this builds upon earlier research on Forbush events and clouds by the Svensmarks, published in 2009.
    It’s a small effect that is visible when Forbush events sweep away GCR, but remain hidden by other natural variations from day to day, or solar cycle to solar cycle. Message to the natural variation deniers out there… this stuff isn’t going away.
