[Time for a new sandbox for the weekend. The old one required too much scrolling to get to the most recent stuff. Anybody willing to give any odds on the Comey Vote. Several of you are so sure that Hillary will pull it off that it seems you're willing to bet the ranch on it. I'm just wondering what kind of odds are all those sure-shots willing to give, or are we doomed to receive only repeats of their staid old verbiage? GJR]

Just in: Bernie is for legal pot in California. He’ll be flying high with this in the Primary and will be sure to draw his supporters to the polls. they are very organized in Nevada County. Could affect the W vote since there is little urgency for the Pubbers to vote with Trump having wrapped things up. There has been near record new registrations with the W’s working the streets and Bernites totally dedicated to making a showing.

1. Healthcare: “Control
Healthcare and you control the People”
DONE!
2. Poverty: Increase the Poverty level as high as possible.” Poor People are easier to control and will not fight

unsustainable level.” That way you are able to increase Taxes, and this will produce more Poverty.
DONE!
4. Gun Control: Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a

ALMOST THERE, AND WORKING HARD ON IT!
5. Welfare: Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food,
Livestock, Housing, and Income).

6. Education: Take control of what People read & listen to; take control of what Children learn in School.

and it will be easier to Tax the Wealthy with full support of the voting Poor.

For those who missed the KVMR debate Monday let me share a little story of the Americans for Safe Accesses VP and his arrest for 350 pot plants more or less and the duplicate recommendations etc. The pot growers front group ASA all were chanting the mantra he was only growing the special medical weed that does not get you high and he gives it away out of the kindness of his generous heart.
The problem is the University that tested the weed said it had NONE of the potential medicine component CBD’s.
It was 15% THC, the psychoactive get you high component and a trace .04% of CBD.

The headline reads Trump Plus 5 over That Woman, Ms. Clinton. To me, the real real real news is that My Gal is only pulling 37%.. Stop the presses. Only 37%???? Gee, with her credentials and name recognition, how could this be. Impossible. Not even 39%?
Think about it. 13% say they want somebody else besides the two front runners, 7% undecided. Those are low numbers. Thought the undecided and none of the above numbers would be at least double what they are at this time in the race. Include those two for 20%, but still 37% at this stage of her long stellar career shocks even me.
Perhaps this can be explained by the pendulum swinging. First, Trump sucked all of the air out of the Political Universe. Now, the media is giving My Gal her time under the stage lights…..and it is beginning to show.
Trump is still thanking his lucky star that his challenger is a pathetically weak, unlovable, widely distrusted, and, yes, hated candidate who’s coronation was set in stone about 3 years ago. Trump caught. UGE BREAK. A urge break.

Bessee, May 18, 9:19pm Sorry, it was shown in court that the plants were high CBD’s of many different varieties. A few plants have higher levels of THC to mix with our CBD’s to get the proper ratios. Funny a test should appear two yeaars later isn’t it? Test our medicine and you’ll see they are predomininatly CBD. We have ratios of 22:1, 12:1, 7:1, and 1:1 as each formula treats different conditions – and none of the medicine is in a form that would appeal to “stoners” so what is your point?

Administrivia – Have no idea how Typepad assigns the graphic icons to commenters. It appears that if you have a picture of yourself assigned to some apps on your own computer, then Typepad is able to grab such a picture and attach it to your handle as a commenter – e.g. See ToddJ’s and Walt’s pics. I watched this evening’s Measure W debate sponsored by the League of Women Voters and streamed to the internet by take2.org. It featured Don Bessee taking the Yes on W side and Hezekiah Allen tooke the No on W side.
The first thing I must say is that the audio quality on Take 2’s feed was abysmal. The signal to noise ratio could not have exceeded 40 dB and the microphone levels were either buried in that noise or distorted. Apparently the sound in the room was not much better.
Allen presented relevant facts and indicated that he was all for being reasonable while Bessee’s case was frequently a matter of how Measure W is on par with or more generous than other California counties and other states. I kept thinking of the old saw, ” If all the other kids were jumping off cliffs would that be what you would want to do, too?” It was most gratifying when Allen finally made reference to just that.
One of my issues with W is that it is an effort to cast Ordinance No. 2405 in proverbial stone and I was pleased to hear Allen agrees. He stated that he opposes ballot initiatives in general except as needed to correct previous ballot initiatives. Bessee turned that around with the unwarranted claim that Allen supports ballot initiatives only when they support his side.
Bessee tried on more than one occasion to justify Measure W by claiming that it is just one paragraph. This is, in addition to being irrelevant, not factual. The ballot text is just one paragraph but the full text consists of five sections that fills more than a full page of the sample ballot. Bessee’s claim shows him to be either uninformed or deceitful.
I have to give this one to Hezekiah Allen.
