[Does anyone have an idea about what the FBI is still doing in its investigation of Hillary. With the IG's finding it would appear that there's now an overwhelming amount evidence to indict her for multiple crimes. The investigation itself could continue. But shouldn't Director Comey take what he has to DoJ and get them started on the next step in the process? Liz Warren needs time to prepare, and so does ol' Joe. gjr]

I’ll take a stab at George’s concern over the lack of progress regarding the investigation into the further criminal deeds of our next president.
There is an ‘ongoing investigation’.
Since the matter is still under investigation, there will be little or no information as to what is actually going on.
She will be elected as president.
Before leaving office, Obama will pardon her.
“In 1866, the Supreme Court ruled in Ex parte Garland that the pardon power “extends to every offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken, or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment.” (In that case, a former Confederate senator successfully petitioned the court to uphold a pardon that prevented him from being disbarred.) Generally speaking, once an act has been committed, the president can issue a pardon at any time—regardless of whether charges have even been filed.”
Of course, she had better be nice to Obama in the meantime.

Gregory, remember ObamaCare SCOTUS? Roberts found that Congress has the right to tax. I can’t recall the part. But it unfortunately seems to have the power.
My point on the taxes was taught to the country by the left. If you want people to use something less, tax the hell out of it. Smoot Hawley and other tariffs were the best example I can remember.

You cannot “recall the part” because it doesn’t exist. It is Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution that grants Congress the power to tax.

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.

What the Supreme Court (Not only Roberts.) decided was that The Affordable Care Act is constitutionally valid because it is a tax.
Taxes can be used to control consumption but, if excessive, often lead to illegal production, distribution, and/or sales of the product that was to be controlled. This has been demonstrated, for example, by states excessively tax tobacco leading to criminals purchasing tobacco in neighboring states and selling it at a profit.
Tariffs are used to restrict trade with other countries rather than to control consumption.
You’re batting 0.000 here, Todd, but that’s no surprise.
Note to spelling Nazi wannabes: “Defence” is the British spelling and was used in the original, hand-written Constitution.

When will DOJ indite Mrs. Clinton?? New twist, and it is a political one, albeit one with merit. If Hillary (who is throwing the whole Dem machine into Iowa this last week…the whole Dem machine with Planned Parenthood setting up phone banks and Dem Party stars and Music Stars and Movie Stars pouring into Iowa as planned)….if she wins Iowa and starts winning Super Tuesday states in March….well the argument goes that the Justice Department would be taking an election away from the voters. Interesting.
Now, can she make it through March without being charged?? Looks that way. State has asked for a 30 days delay on releasing the last batch due January 29 by court order. Seems a 2-3 day delay caused by snow equates to a 30 day delay, lol.
Always deny, stonewall, then call it yesterday’s news.

To qualify as a female athlete the man has to have undergone sex hormone therapy for at least a year. These include anabolic-androgenic steroids and GnRH antagonisists – both banned under current law as performance enhancing drugs. The boys get to play as women AND take banned drugs at the same time. After the crime, Nayeri fled the U.S. to his native Iran, where he remained for several months. He was arrested in Prague in November 2014 while changing flights from Iran to Spain to visit family.

Here is number eight US Code 1182, inadmissible aliens. This law was written in 1952. It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president.
“Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”
All of the pundits that are claiming that what Trump said is dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, and/or unconstitutional, need to educate themselves. It is already the law of the land. And it was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more. He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a bunch. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States, 1979.

Well, you gotta pay taxes on whatever income you derive from whatever you do, legal or not. Even barter, which includes swapping a couple of bucket of rusty bolts old farm machinery with some hunks of metal from old Mac Donad’s farm down the lane. It’s an economic occurance subject to taxation, but what do dummies like Walt and moi know anyway? Keep swatting them flies, Mr. Walt, as they are a’buzzin’ today. Weather bugs. But, they are so harmless no wasp spray needed. That saves money and helps the environment as a super duped bonus.
Nice sidestep of Paul’s real question. Boy, he is getting frustrated, lol. Come on, just say the government cannot tax a bag of grass until the sell of which is legal. Sales tax, that is. That’s all Mr. Paul wants to hear……ok, let him dangle in the wind for awhile…he ain’t going nowhere…he be checking in.
