So writes conservative commentator Erick Erickson (here) in a piece in which he dissects Obama’s 6dec15 lecture from the Oval Office (more here) We watched it with friends last night, hoping against hope from our President for an epiphany of situational awareness and national leadership – nothing.
As he droned on, his words (here) ranged the gamut from stultifying to outrageous. Unbelievable!

Tourists from high refugee population countries do need close scrutiny of their backgrounds especially if they have been a war zone. I think the second part of trumps comment was along the lines until the government figures this out. I have not seen the legislative analysis of the house bill but I sure hope they look at the fiancé visa issue that bit us in this case. Just because they are a potential bride they still need a background check and I recall in the SB incident the jihadi lied on her application. The world has changed and projecting hopes for good will onto people who want us dead is not a viable policy.

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

They LOVE to take shots at Trump. You can bet he has some of the best people researching what he could “do” as President. He isn’t stupid, or shoots off his mouth from the hip.
He says things the way he does just to piss off the PC crowd.
Every time the press goes after him for some perceived accuracy, Trump gets shown to be right.

Walt, yep, he “plays the media like a ( the finest of fine) violin.” Whenever he does the Scanners thing and the heads explode, the very next day he doubles down. I wonder how many people have read “The Art of the Deal.” Ask for the moon and settle for something less, Constitutional, with precedent, legal and walk away appearing willing to compromise. He is controlling the narrative, not Obama, not the Dems, not the Republicans. It’s pure Trump and any hot button issue that has put on the back burner, he sticks in your face.
Here is the Trump pickle: the Republicans cannot take him down, neither can the libs, Dems, press, networks, The President, you name it. And it is appearing that even Trump cannot take himself down.
The Dem hope to kick Trump to the curb relies soley on a Hillary victory in November. The Republicans’ hopes is they all join together and say if you vote for Trump, Hillary will win. Unless somebody on the R side is to up to the task of being a viable challenger to The Donald, that “other R” has not shown any Big Momentum, yet.
If the Republicans try to do the mutiny thing at the Convention, there would be an uprising louder than the press, all candidates from both parties, and every talking head in America currently decrying Trump’s last utterances, ( in a rather cacophonous manner I might add.).
Funny, the more I browse conservative blogs and sites, little of the subject matter is on Trump. They seem more interested in the 1st and 2nd Amendments, border control, that kind of stuff. Right now, “that kind of stuff” is louder on the Left, IMHO.
If anybody knows how to Dump Trump, let’s hear it.

Mr. Walt. We are on the same page. For two days now, I have been thinking about the pledge. Every single R candidate has vowed to throw their support and energy behind the eventual winner of the Republican nomination for President. Even that ” no breaking off and running as a 3rd Party talk signed pledge..
When Trump went along, it appeared at the time that he walked right into the trap. Nay, we are talking about The Donald. The Donald, like Bernie using the Dem Party, is just using the Party apparatus, and to his benefit. Less work, the machine is already there.
I got this image stuck in my head of Carly and Bobby J’s mugs appearing at a Trump rally next summer with their arms wrapped around Trump’s shoulders waving to the crowd with The Donald in the middle. That image is too funny in my head. Crow eating time for some. Jeb is all out put the Trumpster in the Dumpster. Why wouldn’t he? Everything else he was tried has keep him in the middle single digits.
Too funny. Jeb’s biggest donor said he would vote for Hillary before casting a vote for Trumpster. But, Jeb himself might have to go out and stump for Trump, whether he votes for him or not. This is interesting. I am a year premature in following a race for President, but this just doesn’t’ feel like a normal Presidential election cycle.

go against the voters “if” Trump gets the vote nomination, and Trump go they way of a third party run,,(the new Trump party) you can bet more than just the Trumpsters will jump ship
come election time. Many an Independent will follow. A choice between Trump and Hillary,(Or Burney if Clinton is sitting in Clinton FED Pen.) They will vote Trump. Who the Hell wants a third term of “O”? Not many have brushed up on their Mandarin.( That would be Chinese “jon”)

CBO says 0 care will cost 2 million jobs in coming years with disincentives to work, hmmm seems like a pattern. What they don’t talk about is the hours we have to expend to survive under 0 care. We had to pay $$$$ to buy records to transfer to a new doc after a super star independent practice doc who gave up on 0 care shut down. Only a year and a half of BS dealing with this, jury not back yet on the new docs effectiveness.

All that “unAmerican” crap he is spewing. The “T” can’t do this or that. “that’s not who we are.” ( then the “T” is proven to be correct) The malignancy of the current administration and done more to be “unAmerican” than any other in history. How many times has the somebitch gone around Congress? how many “laws” has he done by executive order?
What’s just about as bad, it that the spinless House and Senate let him get away with it.
This tumorous cancer is ganglion and has done plenty of damage.
