    I just read the post from Keachie and the FUE. Nevada County Peeps was started by Keachie according to him. I did not know that. I suggest people read some of the posts as the left is now doing anti-gun and pro climate change crapola on it. What is fascinating to me about the libs posting there is they cannot take it when a contra point of view is voiced. They attack me as a evil doer for even discussing a different POV. It looks like our education system has coddled these minds full of mush to think a disagreement is namecalling. What a hoot.
    The internet is changing how we communicate.

    What is fascinating to me about the libs posting there is they cannot take it when a contra point of view is voiced.
    What was fascinating to me is how Keachies passionate…..dare I say almost sexual description of a new Beretta AR style rifle survived the Flabby Gatekeeper of the Sierras focused gaze? It was as much gun porn (and Keach seems to have a certain flair for it) as jeffys “from the gut” tales of food and wine is food porn. You might want to sneak over before jeffy can “memory hole” it…which he’s certain to do now that I’ve brought it to your attention!
    A regular couple of Mozarts in their selected areas of expertise.

    I never used the word “truth”; quotes are entirely inappropriate; once again we have Jeff making stuff up in order to throw slime. The man (is that too strong a word for him?) does not have the gravitas required for journalism… his first foray into pure advertising with his glossy pennysaver might be his ethical speed but it’s much harder to produce a newspaper or magazine readers are willing to pay for.
    Jeff also is accurately quoted as having written,
    “Greg Goodknight is an [sic] LOL.”
    …and he claims I am the one who needs “bonehead English”.

    I think the FUE is desperate to attract readers and is bowing to the pressure of the common folks who want both sides. But that may have only been a dream I had last night. LOL!

This finally culminating in his abandoning merely linking to your site and clipping the letter and posting it in its entirety at his blog.

    Perhaps I should again mention that I remain a self identified liberal. This is complicated by the fact that Liberalism’s modern adherents are champions of limitations on liberty and redistribution of property, the polar opposite of their origins. Culturally, I have much more in common with “Liberals” but where we disagree lay the biggest hot buttons that drive the DP party power in California.
    I’d be happy to vote for a GOP ticket next November but so far, the top candidates are not ones I’d not throw my vote away for. Voting REP for Pres in CA will not result in any Electors in the winner take all contest so libertarians might as well vote their conscience and find someone else.

    The guns weren’t Cal compliant. The S&W was modified to be fully automatic and the DPMS was modified to accept 30 round clips and the bullet button was bypassed. In the news pictures I only saw 10 round clips but BATF says high capacity clips were used on scene. http://www.thetrace.org/2015/12/san-bernardino-shooting-high-capacity-magazine-clips/
    Just left Tater Pig’s page shaking my head. He was on a rant regarding a 2011 text by fish, but I couldn’t make hide nor hair what he was attempting to communicate. There are three replies to his post which, at first blush, indicated that someone was reading the grease stained screed . . . until I realized all three replies were the TP talking to himself between bites.
    Enjoyed a Tater Pig a few days ago and am seriously thinking about giving Jeff a new nickname. I can’t take a bite without seeing his profile in my mind and the vision ruins a very fine piece of true American vittle.

    I’m not aware of your expertise of firearms My friend Jon. From what I hear and read, an “attempt” was made to modify said weapons to full auto.
    As for the magazines, NO modification is necessary. there is no diff between the 3,5,10, 30,and 100 round,, except the number of bullets they hold. They all will fit. (well,,, DPMS won’t fit say,, Armalite. There are two different latch mechanisms out there.)
    The “bullet button” is easy to swap out, or a round magnet is sold (legally) to insert
    into that hole. I went cheap. a piece of pencil and gorilla tape( Hay! it falls under the deff. of “a tool”.)
