It might surprise some here to know that I have donated to the Syrian Kurdish YPG (People’s Protection Units) and their all female fighting force, the YPJ, in the last two years. It would not shock me if Jon had as well since I know there is a very small but vocal pro Kurdish contingent in western Nevada County.

LIBS… The culture of more taxes… So YOU pay’m.

In July 2012, the YPG had a stand-off with Syrian government forces in the Kurdish city of Kobanî and the surrounding areas. After negotiations, government forces withdrew and the YPG took possession of Kobanî, Amuda and Afrin.[8][9]

For your edification donations by non profit organizations are not tax deductible, because they do not pay tax on their revenue. Just ask George or Russ who has or is currently serving on the board of a non-profit, or Todd who has pretended that he has 🙂

Perhaps not the clearest comparison.
The governments of others should be subject to the input of those who live there….democratically elected, dictatorship, Somali flavored anarchism…..none of the business of those not residing there. The Assad regime, certainly no poster child for good government, but the legal government of the region.
Perfectly acceptable to engage in gun play against the government if it’s a regime that Steve doesn’t care for.

Walt, did you see those Musluuumm immigrants in Sweden march down the streets last year protesting Free Speech. “No free speech, no free speech” the chants were repeated. Free speech is bad,. They (the two) had discussed the skyrocketing gang rapes of young Swedish women by recent practitioners of the Religion of Peace from North Africa.
Sweden is Utopia for rapists. Law enforcement is very reluctant to prosecute the Muslim gang rappers for political reasons while the press and opposition cannot verbalize connecting the dots to immigration policy under the force of law. Oh, Obama is so jealous of Sweden he can’t stand it.

It’s an old disgusting tactic that works. They created what they claim to be fleeing from. It’s all they know, and will do the same here. Fish, there are some similarities between Man Boobs and our dearly departed Jon.
I am reluctant to connect the dots just quite now out of ending up being off base.
Before your appearance on these pages Fish and while Man Boobs was still employed at The Union, I used to comment as a sock puppet on the Union’s moderated blog. So, let’s say I was Joe Blow one minute, Joe Smoo the next, and even chimed in as Betty the Puritan the next. Oh, it was fun for a week, but them I stopped posting and grew bored of it. So, what’s the point??
The point being is every time I would post something not to Man Boob’s likening, a pattern would immediately appear. Man Boobs ( an award winning journalist) would grab the phone book and tell ya if he found you with some sly remark about one’s neighborhood. Moi being more coy than the average bear, he could not find John Sloagh or whatever my one or two day name was at the time. Then off to the voter registration rolls, tax rolls, Google, and whatever tools Man Boobs could scrap together.
The pattern emerged.
Then Lo and Behild, he found me!!! Not! Oh, I feel sorry for any one of the 6 Tozer families around town I found in the phonebook years ago.. Must have driven by and taken pictures of some house in GV cause he sure was convinced his superior detective work had finally bore fruit.
That was when I came clean and said Bill Tozer is my pen name, the last name picked from an old British cartoon minor character and the first name chosen after my sister’s lab “Billy”. Then I set up a bogus Facebook account with pictures of a friend posing as Moi complete with a Tozer Tee Shirt(!!) that took Man Boobs forever to uncover. Yep, he found me this time, lol. Gawd, i am really not fond of these LOLs either, so that makes me a hypocrite.
The whole point is that Jon and Manboobs have similar MO’s, including the posting around 10 at night, after a glass (one glass???) of wine with that whine.
Nothing more, just an observation. Since I don’t visit Man Boobs site but once in a blue moon, I am not up to date with his writing style as much when I gave half a crap.

And, yes, the Internet does change the way we communicate. Last nights “debate” certainly has sealed the fate of the Repubs in 16. No matter who gets the nomination they will be carrying an agenda so far to the right that they will lose the votes of women, Latinos, blacks, gays and anyone under 25 that bothers to vote.
