[Hillary's emails and Obama's Iran giveaway, both are going to overheat. Yet some think that Obama may be rehabilitated enough by next spring to become an invited campaigner for Democrat candidates. If true, then "… you can fool enough of them all the time." will be confirmed again. gjr]

Well, that’ some stuff good. Wish they used it at UC Davis instead of the edible peppy spray the Good LT dispensed..aka, Sergeant Pepper. Figure if they use it at some sit in or demonstration in The Santuary City by the Bay, the stink would linger for awhile. Maybe this stuff is stronger than their normal daily sewer stink. Gag me with a spoon, girlfriend. And because we are in a drought, it would be uncool and not enviro friendly to hose the sidewalks down later. Always a silver lining beside being green, water based, biodegrable, a non-gun, and what’s not to love about it. Nobody gets hurt except their stinkin’ pride. Kinda like when jon comes over to play.
Looks like Hillary has to run the table. Looks bad, but never underestimate the enemy.

“Medicare tax went from 1.45% to 2.35% (2015)” GR 3:45
FALSE STATEMENT. Please edit and correct the record. Thanks George.LikeLike
-
FYI. No change to Medicare tax. Same tax rate now for many years. The Obamacare lies are laughable..
2015 SOCIAL SECURITY CHANGES. NOTE: The 7.65% tax rate is the combined rate for Social Security and Medicare. The Social Security portion (OASDI) is 6.20% on earnings up to the applicable taxable maximum amount (see below). The Medicare portion (HI) is 1.45% on all earnings.LikeLike

Hey Todd,
Here’s a story to give a giant LOL to all of us who already knew what a PHONY Scott Walker is. His favorite education guy is a progressive, civil rights advocate!

Well well….. LOOK what the cat dragged in….
Yup “jon”,, “black lies matter”. Cops shoot another would be cop killer with a stolen gun, and the pavement apes rampage… But not a peep when one another low life shoots and kills a young Black child…No outrage. No march to the crack house.
I see you have broken your fast on your boycott of mined materials… I knew it wouldn’t last.
So where did that cut and paste come from?LikeLike

Be nice Jon or somebody will toss a stink bomb your way. No, not the new Earth friendly smelling salts, although it is deliciously tempting. No, I am talking about someone tossing a real hellacious foul stink bomb your way; that 6′ cutout of Hillary that mysteriously disappeared while you were getting grass stains on your new jeans at the fair. Incoming and she is a lot worse for the wear.

I liked Fuller’s last tweet. The very last one. It sounds so familiar, like I heard those exact words somewhere…more than once….wait, it can’t be! Fuller and Brother Ben are one and the same.LikeLike

The Medicare tax rate is 1.45% and 2.35% for those making under and over $200,000 respectively. George is correct in that the tax rate did in fact go up as a result of the demonrats and the Ohbummer. I gues I will just have to cut back on my exploitation of the poor and low income people and limit my income, erh stealing to $199,999.49.

What’s old should be tried again. We have come a long way in turbine tech.
http://www.allpar.com/mopar/turbine.html
Heck. Why someone hasn’t mated a small gas turbine powerplant to an alternator to “power”
an electrically driven car/truck is a good question. ( for the elec. car fans)
This makes a hell of a lot more sense than a thousand pounds of batteries to power a car.LikeLike
-

A gas turbine works best if it can be operated at one optimal setting.
The constant stop-start nature of the automotive driving environment really works against it Walt. If we want to go “green” I’m surprised why no one has gone the diesel-electric route similar to modern railroad locomotives?LikeLike
-
fish 1007am – re Walt’s 958am; it seems that a gas turbine may be kept at/near its optimal setting if it charges a (relatively) small battery which can then handle a variable load. Has anyone tried that? If I recall correctly, airliner APUs are powered by gas turbines, and they have to support a variable load as the airplane is parked at the gate or even in a maintenance bay when a full hook-up is not available.
Question: since both the gas turbine and diesel engines are powered by fossil fuels, how much ‘green’ can you squeeze out of either approach?LikeLike
-
Fish.. Reading the story of the first concept car from way beck when, it actually did pretty well, even as a gear drive.
( just giving the ECO crew a little ammo for once)
Gas turbine is about as efficient as it gets. ( I have read that the piston engines today are now right up there with them in efficacy.)
CAT is using diesel electric in their monster mine trucks today.
I have seen REALLY small turbine engines that put out massive HP for their size.
And those things can run on anything that burns.
Heck. Kids are making “jet” engines out of truck turbochargers, and they are crazy simple.
See? I’m not totally anti progress….LikeLike
-
The making of “high tech” batteries sure isn’t a “green” endeavor. Lithium is some nasty stuff.

Gas turbine/battery pairing might be viable. A gas turbine by it’s very nature though is “high strung”….no ignoring maintenance or warning lights…..maybe not the best option for a Gruberized America. These issues aren’t quite so critical with a diesel.LikeLike
-
fish 1039am – They are high strung indeed. Way back when I sold an APU manufacturer on a contract to design a new cockpit UI for their systems installed in wide bodies. (Had a chance to paw over a DC-10 set aside for me at LAX for half a day.) Anyway, I recall one of my takeaways was that the gas turbine was normally operated near edge of its stability region (envelope), and there were certain known events and even some unknown events that would drive the APU into instability where it would simply explode into flames and burn down the aircraft. The UI design to allow monitoring and precise control of such a beast was a lot of fun. You may be right; the gruberized should only get such engines if they are machine (AI) controlled.

Of course at the rate self driving vehicles are being developed coupled with the utopian impetus to force everybody of of their personal transportation I wouldn’t rule out the gas turbine for the masses at this point…..they’ll probably just be cargo anyway.LikeLike

In the “which right wing nut will win the nomination department” comes this:
An independent presidential candidate named “Deez Nuts” has pulled in the support of 9 percent of North Carolina voters, 8 percent in Minnesota and 7 percent in Iowa according to Public Policy’s recent polling.
Nuts’ 9 percent beat out most Republican presidential candidates including Scott Walker, Carly Fiorina and Mike Huckabee (each with 6 percent) as well as Rand Paul (3 percent), Chris Christie (2 percent), Rick Santorum (2 percent), John Kasich (1 percent) and Rick Perry (1 percent). The independent candidate is also much more popular than Lindsey Graham who has “literally no supporters.”
Nuts is a 15 year old boy running as an independent with the best third party poll numbers since Ross Perot. Even though he is too young to hold office, Nuts told “Rolling Stone” that he was willing to take his fake candidacy as far as the American people want to take it.LikeLike
