On the subject of recent well publicized hate crimes and acts of terror, Steve Frisch’s post today over at Sierra Foothills Report was one of most clear, defining, timely pieces of writing I’ve ever seen, ever.

Again jeffy…..errr….”jon” why so snotty about this tragedy? Nobody here approves of what young Mr. Roof did. If you are so concerned about the proliferation of guns in society perhaps you should pen a sternly worded missive to Barack Obama and the rest of the democratic leadership.
They have truly been a godsend to the firearms industry.

Sure jonnie, those libs don’t have bad chillin. Jeeze. Libs just kill the kids before they get a chance to see the sun and take a breath. Yep, the sincerity of a lib cannot be questioned but only believed and accepted for the “good intentions”.
I guess now that jonnie has politicized this terrible act, I look forward to seeing him at the proson gates objecting to the death sentence being carried out.

Nope! It would seem in this instance his father was quite the piece of work. If you want to see the killers who the LIBS raised you would need to look into the Columbine Massacre….good LIB parenting there (Read the article that Klebolds mother wrote. I’m sure her politics would pass your strictest scrutiny!). Or the fine young LIB who shot Congressman Giffords……Loughner…..democrat he (is that an indicator of mental illness…voting democrat? Hmmmm….perhaps a well funded, peer reviewed study will get us to the bottom of that conundrum)…his parents actions were exemplary. They disabled his car, took his gun and he still had his moment! Or the Aurora Colorado shooter……his father was a garbageman and his mom was a door to door vacuum salesman…..that practically screams conservative republican…..oh wait….dad was a Stanford educated mathematician and dear old mom an RN I can only guess at their ‘leanings”.
I’m not exactly convinced by your “reasoning” here jeffy…..err…”jon.

Not that I don’t know more than a few “Libs” who have raised batshit crazy kids..the point I’m making is that the level of batshit crazy and hate filled present in Mr. Roof cannot go un-noticed, and instead he got a gun for his birthday.
Go here to read his manifesto (and see the pretty pictures of the south with him holding his gun like its and extension of his dick):
    http://lastrhodesian.com
What I find amazing are the meme’s present in his manifesto that we find regularly repeated here….but without the N word. (Thanks for the comment stream from Gawker for starting me out.)
    Blacks are the real racists!
    George Zimmerman was right.
Blacks(and liberals) are obsessed with race and view everything through a racial sense.
Those ‘race hustlers’ stir up trouble.
Why am I blamed, I didn’t own slaves?
Slaves were treated better by their masters than our history tells us.
Why are we talking about whites killing blacks when blacks kill whites too?
    Blacks act out inappropriately.
Suburbs are safer because there are more white people.
There are personality traits within the races.
    We are ‘losing’ our ‘culture’.
Other cultures emulate ours because the know we are superior.

I am merely pointing out that there is a common thread here of men posing with their guns…by the way, for a little steam of consciousness Freudian analysis check out Todd’s bromance picture of a young John Wayne :)….I remember a post by Mitch McDaniel of a 14 year old girl field stripping an AR 15 years ago….spoke volumes abut values. I guess if she had posed with a copy of Oedipus the King she would not have gotten nearly as much attention.

Blacks are the real racists! I think you’ll find plenty of racism within the black community
George Zimmerman was right. Apparently the States Attorney couldn’t put together a case they thought was a winner….The Obama Justice Department either…..
Blacks(and liberals) are obsessed with race and view everything through a racial sense. Is this even a question…..jeez Steve your a good lefty….go read Salon.

Suburbs are safer because there are more white people.

You fuc#ing idiot, I am not quoting Gawker, I used it to pass people through to the ‘manifesto.’ You can go read the manifesto on your own.
But I will state it loudly and proudly, I definitely believe that many people here are racists, and I posted similarities between the manifesto comments and comments made here over the years so readers can reflect on that.
I don’t expect any of you certified geniuses to buy that– you are too busy trying to protect your precious ‘culture’ from being sullied by inferior cultures–but I know readers will see the similarity.

I guess that was right around the time that LBJ promised, “These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference… I’ll have them niggers voting Democratic for the next two hundred years”.
Yep….nothing more liberating than getting out of a southern prison!

They know the reason that white southern crackers and white shoed country club types worried their belles would be sullied moved to the Republican party and made it the dominant party of the south is that Republicans embraced the racism of the fucking Klan under the guise of the Council of Conservative Citizens.

Steve, whats going to be really interesting now is which Republican candidates for President are going to finally step up and aggressively call out this cracker mentality, call out the flying of the Confederate Flag, call out everything you are talking about. Yes, with this horrific tragedy comes an opportunity for change. They will all have to answer for their Party’s tolerance of this stuff, and even its associations with hate groups.

What I’m interested in is the demonization of legally owned firearms and the lefts attempt to staple this to others who had nothing to do with this tragedy. jeffy posted here not a 1/2 hour after the event that we would need “Good luck with this one Boys” As if we had anything to do with it at all.

Fish you have everything to do with it…I am 100% behind Jeff’s comment, “Good luck with this one boys.”
The issue many are bringing up is not the individual responsibility for Mr. Roof’s actions, which I have posted elsewhere could not have been missed by friends, family and neighbors who had their eyes open, but the collective responsibility for supporting and being an apologist for a society that perpetuates racism and violence.
Every time George denies the true causes of the Civil War he is an apologist for racism.
Every time Todd misquotes civil rights leaders and calls them race baiters he is an apologist for racism.
Every time Walt says Zimmerman is a hero, or implies every shooting by a cop is justified, he is an apologist for racism.
Every time you demagogue the “Democrats are the KKK’ meme (and post false quotes without even checking them), you are an apologist for racism.
I don’t give a shit whether or not Roof’s .45 was legally owned, he never should have had it, period, and if he had been a Muslim teenager in Dearborn shooting up a Synagog you would be asking how the government could be so incompetent.
It does not take a rocket scientist (although in the case of our host perhaps a mad rocket scientist) to see the code constantly perpetuated on this site.
