   I recall the reports of Jimmy Carter “turning white” and changing his tune when he supposedly had the inside news of what’s “out there”.
   He was going to give the people the facts when he ran for President, and expose the “truth”. ( Then clammed up, and never said another word)

   JoeK 936am – no deflection at all to those who understand the issue and can discuss issues at a level of precision beyond innuendo and emoting. I think the record in these pages shows that our right-leaning readers do not dismiss a message due to the identity of the messenger, but instead consider it on its merits. Unfortunately that is another asymmetry between the Right and Left. Russ and Gregory have adequately covered the other points in my 907am.

   No, not that I can see. Warren Buffet does, which kind of ruins the narrative.
   Maybe it’s possible that the KOCH! Bros own a large piece of one of the larger mutual funds which in turn own a chunk of XOM.

   It seems Mr. Steyer, the billionaire lefty hedge fund fellow (who promised the Democrats $100,000,000 if the would chat about global warming) has been exposed for the corrupt liberal he is. Oregon now has a new GOV and Steyer appears to be the reason.
   The Koch brothers can spread that dough around and help us get R’s and conservatives elected. Free Speech. Kinda great!

   How am I wrong Paul? Carter was a big believer in UFOs. There is more than one account of his “attitude” change in his pre Presidential briefings. You have a search tool,,, use it.
   Besides. Life beyond Earth has more credibility than AGW. ( and a lot more proof exists as well)
