KeenO 321pm – good points. That Chinese fighter coming within 30ft of our aircraft was nothing but a big finger in the face of Obama and the nation that mistakenly made him its leader (twice, which gives rise to the appellation ‘double dummy’). It will be a painful two years until we again get a real president into the White House.

KKKrazy Doug Keachie weighs in with another of his famous “unusual punishment proposals”.
Douglas Keachie says:
August 23, 2014 at 9:12 am
I would have made an additional condition that he, once released, spend every other Sunday, building a memorial pagoda at the lake, which would have protected posters telling the story, and that he would then have to visit it, once a month, for the rest of his life. If he wishes to leave the area (Yuba/Nevada/Plumas/Sierra/Sutter), he can visit via a remote cam, for one hour, each month. Two way connection, his image shows up on a monitor there, and at a memorial website. He is never allowed to own a boat in California again if he fails to visit. Pagoda is all steel, no chance of “mysterious fire.”

KKKrazy Doug, this is almost as weird as your “Icebox Challenge” for gun owners at your “Thski the far Thtarz” page.

Another SciFi Starter Kit
Technorati Profile http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping
Establish a prison in Antarctica. Cells with no social media or news of the outside world, past the date of internment. Each cell with a door to the outside and freedom, and totally sound proof. Only one of said cell door per square mile can open once every 24 hours, unless the person returns to it. Each cell with an unbreakable picture window, looking out at the snow. 365 day sentence for anyone found with an illegal gun, very brief trials, one level of appeal. Lose that and you are penquin for a year.

You’re a weird dude Dougie. When you finally pass I hope the local authorities excavate your property…..ten bucks says they find missing homeless people and lost family pets.LikeLike

Nope,, solar isn’t as great as some claim. It sure must suck to burn gas
to make up the short fall. Yet still receive permits to fry endangered birds.

Michael Kesti you’re so right! “You can blame a newspaper for not including those who do not want to participate.” Just like “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink!” The people who write opinions in the newspaper care enough to put forth the effort, and are brave enough to endure the backlash from the bullies.

Along the same lines, we have heard much recently about the racial mix of communities versus that of their police departments. If there is policy, whether official or de-facto, in place to create these imbalances then that must be dealt with. That’s not what we are hearing, though, and I suspect that the racial balance of the police departments reflects that of the applicants to positions within those departments.LikeLike
