Under Obama administration orders the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement bureau released over 36,000 illegal alien criminals (who were convicted of over 87,000 criminal acts, see ICE data below) onto American streets last year while they were awaiting deportation.  ICE did this in addition to the 68,000 similar releases it reported earlier.  These blatant violations of federal laws were done simply to appease Hispanic pressure groups and assure the future election of Democrats.  No lamestream outlet will report this for reasons long outlined in these pages.  These data were compiled and published by the independent Center for Immigration Studies.

This latest release compounds the argument that, through their insularity and criminality, illegal aliens are in fact a net burden on our country, and not only the beneficial source of low cost labor touted by our vociferous backers of nations without borders (another of the insidious Agenda21 objectives for their brave new world).  As we add this to the list of the administration’s imbecilities and illegalities, the question that becomes ever more prominent is ‘when will the threshold for impeachment be reached?’ – in short, given his record over the past five years, what more does Barack Hussein Obama have to do before middle roaders finally get the picture that this man and his assembled team have a radically different future in mind for what used to be the United States of America?

IllegalAlien2013convictions

[15may14 update]  The Dept of Agriculture, not to be outdone by the Dept of Education, the EPA, and many other peace loving federal agencies, has issued a solicitation to buy 40 cal submachine guns with 30 round magazines (more here).  This will no doubt warm the cockles of progressive hearts everywhere, since now even a department that used to be mostly concerned with telling farmers what they can/not grow is ready to handle the odd plowboy who might insist on going above his allotted acres of soybeans.  And we all know that farmers are big on the Second Amendment, so you can’t be too careful when you pull up to the old farmhouse for a little confab – better pack some serious heat.  No one should be surprised if future visits to the countryside by the DoA will involve MRAPs and a few extra helmeted thugs just to make sure that the peace will be kept and regulations followed.  After all, the folks in the hinterlands today are getting a bit feisty, and full employment by any means is now national policy.

Then again, there are those illegal alien criminals – at least a 100,000 of them now released back onto the streets by Obama’s ICE.  And some of these Hispanics have been known to be agricultural workers, so God knows where in his daily round a bureaucrat may run into some foreign desperado going unhinged when he sees a federale coming.  On second thought, submachine guns make all the sense in the world.  Where can I get mine?

Walt, when you get to Kona make sure you leave that town immediately so you get to see the real Hawaii. Take the Saddle Rd. to Hilo, breathe some natural volcano fumes, go see the beef ranches in Waimea, take a hike around Kohala. Don’t bother with the luaus, most of them are fake. The Big Island is my favorite.

In May, I sometimes glance at the updated list of delinquent property taxpayers released by the County Treasurer-Tax Collector.
While some situations are unfortunate, I also note that the list includes some sanctimonious, judgmental types in our community, including more than a few surnames you would recognize. Not all the people are destitute either — they just chose not to pay. And much of the property was for an investment, not a home — in some cases multiple parcels.

You didn’t pay your taxes jeffy? Oh wait…my mistake. The list was just a list of delinquent taxpayers…..not judgmental sanctimonious types who didn’t pay. Cuz I’m sure you can understand my confusion on the matter.

Smells like them (our public servants) against us. And the names they call us (actually me included) growths longer every day. The intolerant left truly believes the nail that stands up will be pounded down. Not should be pounded down, but will be pounded down. Food stamp administrators need sub-machine guns? After all, isn’t the Department of Agriculture’s main job and 80% of its budget to pass out food stamps? Dangerous work.

Finally, we have to seriously ask ourselves about our local idiots who be profess to be rational ‘leaders’ who stood up for this sort of lawless, threatening, and illegal behavior, and seem hell bent on precipitating an armed conflict with federal authorities.
Who would they be Stevie…those our local idiots who be profess to be rational ‘leaders’ who stood up for this sort of lawless, threatening, and illegal behavior…..I swear in addition to looking like a menopausal woman you’re starting to act like one as well. I seem to recall much back and forth over legal issues….you acquitted yourself pretty well during these exchanges….why do you have to go ruin it by lapsing back into jeffyspeak? I can recall no one who endorsed taking up arms and trundling off to Nevada to support Bundy. Maybe Walt but I think that was largely in jest.
You should spend less time with jeffy he’s dulling your mind.
Who you say? The Nevada County Tea Party Patriots, CABPRO, and our local coterie of neo-fascist bloggers cheered on armed confrontation.
Can’t let it go can you Steve. What did CABPRO say officially in reference to the Bundy Affair. Neo-fascist? Ah been theorizing with young Emery again have we? How goes the political paradigm?

re fish 834am – interesting topic to revive in view of the continuing comprehensive militarization of government agencies and departments. For the sake of argument, let’s accept that the Bundy ranch affair included an over reaction by both sides, then the question still remains – can anyone offer a threshold scenario of armed government overreach against which they would condone an armed response by citizens? or better yet, a scenario which would motivate them to personally take up arms?

Illegal immigrants need to self deport and then get in line so we have the confidence they understand the law. Liberals from Truckee and blogmeisters from NC would never criticize them Too funny!

BenE 843pm – there may be some confusion here. Turning around illegal aliens at the border or soon thereafter is a normal year-in-year-out function of our Border Patrol and ICE. That’s what they’re paid to do with illegal entrants, and it takes no strain on any sitting administration’s leadership efforts. However, releasing over 100,000 illegal alien convicted criminals who are already in custody awaiting deportation requires an administration that has no regard for the safety of its citizens, the prudent use of federal funds, and maintaining respect for our borders and sovereignty by aliens contemplating illegal entry.

Most aggressive for deportations in US history yet it’s perfectly fine to release those illegals suspected or even convicted of crimes, some serious, to merely be released back into the population without supervision….yep just as you and George said, “politically motivated”. George,
What the immigrants that come here without documentation are doing is fulfilling your cherished free market demand, low wage workers. Those who are actually breaking the law are those who hire undocumented workers and it is those we should focus our energy and attention. The way to control illegal immigrants/ undocumented workers is done through employment not by enforcing laws onto those who have no way of defending themselves except through evasion. Go after the hospitality, food, beef/ chicken/ pork processing industries if we want to nip the immigration issue in the bud. The reason this doesn’t happen is white collar crime is really not enforced with blue collar crime is zealously pursued as a political football that only confuses the American electorate. Obama is a right wing wet dream with his hawkish policies, immigration policies, national security policies, and his trade policies and yet you guys keep blindly hammering his administration over the head.

…and as timely as todays news here is something completely OT from this mornings issue of “The Daily Bleat”
Here’s a letter than comes from the hard-right contingent in our community, who is a board member of Nevada County Republican Women’s Federated and also the Nevada County Republican Party’s representative to State. Sen. Ted Gaines, according to both group’s websites — groups that have been overrun by hard-right political views (and are not your mom’s “Eisenhower Republicans” or moderates).
The local Republican Women Federated has invited speakers such as “Constitutional Sheriff” Richard Mack and the tea party candidate for governor, Tim Donnelly, to our community to speak.
The letter is a good example of how extreme politics seeks to infiltrate our mainstream media and influence its coverage. It’s also a reflection on the older, conservative demographic that dominates The Union — not much of a “growth strategy” for management. It is the Fran Freedle era of politics we wrote about last week.

Wow jeffy you sound like quite the conspiracy theorist……seeks to infiltrate our mainstream media and influence its coverage. And much like the Right Wing Whack jobs that you deride for being conspiracy theorists, nobody is paying any attention to your site either. So what is that…five maybe six posts over the last few days…. with four comments in toto, two from the proprietor himself. Very influential jeffy! Todd gets more traffic!
(No offense Todd …..but of course you don’t bill yourself as the “voice” of the “Sierra Foothills Community”)
The letter, complete with its own tone, is here:
Offended by tone of guest column
In a recent Other Voices (“Well, I’ll be hornswoggled!”) Cheryl Cook, a member of The Union’s editorial board, managed to attack every local organization she apparently doesn’t agree with. Her tone of ridicule, mockery and exaggeration were purposely offensive. Does a person with such deep-seated partisan bias and lack of tolerance for other points of view belong on the editorial board? Her future role in any analysis by the editorial board will now always be suspect.

“Does a person with such deep-seated partisan bias and lack of tolerance for other points of view belong on the editorial board?”
Good question…..but then again they employed you….. so maybe the question answers itself.
PS: Way to bust those nuns for not paying their property taxes though. Heaven holds a special place for a non-sanctimonous, non-judgmental crusader like yourself!

    Partial credit Ben.
Agreed, focusing on the employers should be done if you want to control the problem. But you do admit that there is a problem with people being in the country illegally. The deportations are a separate issue.
The way to control illegal immigrants/ undocumented workers is done through employment not by enforcing laws onto those who have no way of defending themselves except through evasion.
And as shown in the link you provided most are simply removed, not subjected to prosecution.
Go after the hospitality, food, beef/ chicken/ pork processing industries if we want to nip the immigration issue in the bud.
Actually this issue is already in the process of resolving itself as these industries transition from human to robotic labor…..in process.

Obama is a right wing wet dream with his hawkish policies, immigration policies, national security policies, and his trade policies and yet you guys keep blindly hammering his administration over the head.
All of the issues that you list Ben deserve “hammering”. The “white collar crime” issue….well the left accompanied by gullible SWPL types like yourself got President Empty Suit elected not once, but twice……how is that my fault? A complacent and largely lefty press conveniently overlooks these same policies….again how is that my fault? Obama is much more your sides responsibility than mine….so what do you have to say for yourself?

Lots of interesting threads in this comment stream. An immediate notion from the liberal mind is that America’s early release policies of its citizens from jails is their moral equivalent of releasing criminal illegal aliens from pre-deportation detention (BradC 817am). Again illuminates how the progressive thinks of sovereign-nation states and the principle of sovereignty in general. Very difficult to do politics with counterparts whose perceptions of what a (our) country is differs so radically from your own.
And Mr BenE (850am) thoughts seem to mirror Mr Croul’s as he raises the free market desideratum without qualifications as to under which jurisdictions such markets exist and who may work in them. Here again we see the A21 ‘world without borders’ thinking ascendant – we are all H.Sapiens, therefore we are all one. Or as a recent SecState asked, “What difference does it make?!” Again, the difficulty in political compromises with such thinkers is highlighted.
But we do agree that illegal entries would be cut down (but not eliminated) were it the case that illegals would have a hard time finding work. And the rate would be even lower were we to enforce our immigration laws that call for quick deportations. Agreed also is that Big Ag and Big Food perpetrate illegal entries by hiring the successfully evasive illegals. But here the feds make it difficult in a most pernicious way for employers to vet their hires by providing no easy way to determine who is a legal resident, and then quickly removing and deporting the surrendered illegals. This takes us into the realm of national identity cards which all other civilized nations use for private and public identification of people within their borders.
Since we already have a potpourri of required identity cards for transacting with various private enterprises and government agencies, pulling it all together with a national identity card does not seem to be a draconian step from here toward tyranny. But such a card will make voting early and often, or even from the grave, more difficult. Now who would be against that?

Agenda 21 clearly believes/states/relies on their plan to work IF we can reduce the population of this orb known as Earth by 15%. Without a 15% decrease in humanoids, their plan may be foiled. Right now they are full steam ahead, balls to the wall. Opps to Mr. Driverbyposter. I grossly erred and am a worm. I foolishly misread your words and thought you said we needed a huge influx of 7th grade dropouts to clean my bedpan. I did not correctly read your preceding words “the last thing we need”. Yes, the the LAST thing we need to is to clog our social services offices beyond the breaking point.
I strongly believe in an orderly process for those to come here legally on a temp work permit, pick some strawberries, pluck some chicken feathers, remove asbestos from old buildings, poop, and go back.
I just as strongly believe in the flip side of the coin that only the best and brightest minds should be allowed to stay here permanently (if they are extremely healthy and of sound mind) and help us kick the world’s rear in innovation. Who would help our future more? Who would keep us on the cutting edge? Who would contribute to THIS nation more? The highly motivated highly skilled innovators or 6th grade dropouts that breed like rats? We already have enough bush rats and sewer rats that are citizens, why add to the stink?
As they say in prison, “I am a citizen of North America.” Boy, they can rationalize then justify anything to absolve themselves.

I wrote the following to the letter writer on the Union blog:
    Maxine,

Do you think that a ” deep seated partisan bias” blinded Sheriff Mack to the strategy of putting women up front to be shot by federal law enforcement so the nation could witness their actions.?
Its easy to post ad hominum attacks without facing someone and getting to know them. I won’t respond to your letter in the Union on the Union pages, and I won’t be meeting Cliven Bundy, Sheriff Mack, or the Kochs any time soon, but would be willing to meet over a cup of coffee so we can share our political views and attempt to understand each other.
Contact the Union if you are interested.
    Thank you
    Cheryl Cook”
I responded on the blog (he will moderate it off though) by telling her if she can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen. These liberals cannot take blowback from their BS. She attacks vociferously many local conservatives and organizations and then whines like a little baby when Maxine calls her out. Maxine is no dummy. She is a computer genius by profession and was a member of the CABPO board at one time. She volunteers at the FNCM and many other groups. Cook has been AWOL for the whole FNCM tenure. So, I would suggest the Union should get George into their editorial board to keep them honest. We all know what those liberal bloviators like Cook try to do.
