It’s been hard for me to figure out how to respond to another in a steady stream of atrocities that Islamists are committing daily on this planet. Especially one incident stands out that cannot garner much of our attention as it competes with the catastrophes in Japan, the civil war in Libya, and the popular uprisings throughout the Arab world. But please pause a moment and excuse my frank French – for being Jews the Fogel family in Israel was slaughtered in their home last Friday by Islamist ragheads who snuck in through an open window. Father, mother, and three children were stabbed and had their throats cut. The murders were celebrated in the Arab street by the adherents of the “religion of peace”, so we need not talk about this as some sort of an aberrant happening condemned by the broad Arab masses. The motivation for memorializing this particular atrocity is my disgust for the sentiments of the useful idiots in America that condemn anyone who identifies and labels these murderous worms for what they are. There is no measure of the support such moralizing pricks give to these killers, and the ensuing light in which they cast our country with their politically correct preenings. However, for a more measured expansion of this theme by Patrick Condell that is also more suitable for polite company, please take the time to view this video. Government shutdown? It is becoming a puzzle to those of us who voted last November to pull us back from the precipice as to when these fiscally responsible Republicans will start acting fiscally responsible. Debating deficit reductions in the single billions when the national debt is scheduled to increase in the trillions is yet one more fraud upon the voters. I voted for Tom McClintock, and I want to know how he intends to deport himself in this season of ‘continuing resolutions’ that week by week restore momentum to the socialists intent on spending us into oblivion.
Now that we have three Japanese nuclear reactors going into crisis due to the 9.0 earthquake and resulting tsunami, the ‘environmentalist’ left is going to make the most of this crisis and attempt to forge long-term nuclear energy policy over some weekend while the sheeple can be marshaled into some state of passion. No new nuclear power plant has been brought on line in America since 1966. It takes almost forty years to get one of these clean energy facilities supplying power. To those who want to level America to second world status, this is their perfect storm. Wiser heads who counsel action after we know the facts from Japan are being shouted down. For these progressives another opportunity to cripple America is here, and the time to strike is now.
