   I think you are correct Barry, Homer is just trying to be significant at something somewhere. Attacking people and throwing unfounded accusations is maybe the only way anybody will talk to him, ever think of that???

   SteveE makes a valid point here. Although he can and has been known to also cast the first stone with the best of them, I have found that not responding in kind does work. Sticking to the man’s ideas seems to present one with more than enough material to which to respond. And that is even true as he and other liberals accuse you of such things as “attacking” them or “throwing them under the bus” when the response clearly disputes their message and not them as the messenger. The critical reader will have no trouble sorting out such erroneous jumps in logic, and will himself judge the messenger through the quality of his messages.
   Perhaps a good rule to follow in such situations is ‘If you are struck on the right cheek, then turn to the next left idea.’ This rule is ideologically symmetric and can, of course, be reworded appropriately to be used by all.

   Now that is funny George. Having been a County Supervisor for eight years I got to hear it all. Enos is a product of the public hearing “hero” syndrome. I have seen it many times. Liberals and hero wannabees are always pointing the finger at their betters because they have a tremendous inferiority complex. I once was talking to a left wing nut who always showed up to public hearings and who attacked whatever project was on the agenda. I asked him why and he said “for the sport”. That is the behavior shown by most liberals. They don’t have solutions and they simply enjoy trying to take down their betters.

   Exit question for George: When if ever will you apply your posting rules to Todd? Why do you allow Todd to make endless personal, off topic attacks? George if you want your blog site to be a place where discussions can take place you need to apply your posting rules to the one person that violates them on a regular basis.
