We begin to see more and more commentators ascribe the national nostrums coming from the White House to sheer incompetence (for example ‘He Was Supposed to be Competent’).   Remember when Ronald Reagan was called the Teflon President by the Left.  But his legacy is such an enduring testament to conservative governance that the progressives to this day are writing silly screeds condemning his tenure – they don’t dare let well enough alone.  Maybe now their pens will have a more urgent commission to bail out this president.  Witness the nobility of –

“I ULTIMATELY take responsibility for SOLVING this crisis.  I’m the President, and the buck stops with me.”

‘Ultimately’ for ‘solving’ ??!!  Gee that’s magnanimous since he can have no other impact on the solution except to harass the oil workers with his ‘rage’ at their slow pace.  And we know he wants no responsibility for this administration’s contribution to the crisis – only to take the ultimate credit for cleaning up other people’s messes.

And then, of course, there’s the Sestak Affair, the astounding explanation of which must have been issued by the cretin corps in the bowels of Blair House on the eve of a three day weekend – ‘maybe they won’t notice’.  His remaining escape from there is the now inevitable –

Thanks Mikey for the added information from that link which itself contains another link to a video of Obama’s national security adviser John Brennan. I have no idea why in his current position Brennan would make such public remarks while we are being assaulted worldwide by militant Islam that is uniformly supported by the Arab street. His sentiments do not contribute to our country’s security, their expression should be left to Obama’s political hacks.

    Social promotion gone bad!
We know so little about Obama academic career, as his teachers and administrators are hiding his grades and accomplishments. It occurs to be he has been a beneficiary of social promotion, moved to the next grade without demonstrating proficiency at the current grade level. Now he has received the ultimate social promotion and can not longer hide the facts. He in way over his head and lacks the competency to be an effective leader. He has become the poster child for the evils of social promotion.

Yes, Obama has all the earmarks of being an ‘8a success story’, and that alone is the simplest explanation for the secrecy about his past. In my career I was privy to the details and backgrounds of a number of “disadvantaged persons” who played the ‘8a game’ for all it was worth. Only one of these was able to make a success of the 8a program, and this very competent Indian engineer could have done it without the feds. The rest of them were atrocious wastes of tax dollars, some of them never even intended to make their efforts a going concern – it was free money for the taking. But then what could we expect when we have agenda driven government dummies assessing business plans and approving loans to any minority dufus that walks in the door. In their own words –
“The objective of the “8(a)” Program is to help eligible small firms become independently competitive. To be eligible for 8(a) Program participation, a small business concern must be at least 51 percent owned, controlled, managed, and operated on a daily basis by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged persons.
Socially disadvantaged individuals are those who have been subjected to racial or ethnic prejudice or cultural bias because of their identification as members of certain groups. Economically disadvantaged individuals are those socially disadvantaged individuals whose ability to compete in the economy has been impaired due to diminished capital and credit opportunities. Black Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian-Pacific Americans, and Asian Indian Americans have been officially designated socially and economically disadvantaged. Members of other groups must provide evidence that they are economically and socially disadvantaged. SBA determines eligibility on a case-by-case basis.”
