Good news, the county got approved for more ARRA funding, but getting it is another matter.  In the meantime this week’s memo to the Supes from county CEO Rick Haffey has a lot of good stuff that we all should be aware of, so I’m making the whole 3+MB pdf available here.  The topics covered are

• the test of a new eComment system on BoS agenda items for citizen input;
• the new Emergency Preparedness Guide;
• update on the county’s Nevada County Connected proposal for ARRA funding.

It’s good to be back in the connected world.  Very revealing how addicted we have become to having everything at our fingertips when we are denied our continual ‘fix’.  There’s also an emotional component to it that I’m still trying to figure out.
