The accusation of the staged Tea Partiers shouting ‘nigger’ at black legislators at the Capitol is coming home to roost for the scumbags who tried to set the whole thing up in Washington DC, and then again in Searchlight, Nevada.  National blogger Andrew Breitbart was falsely accused by shipped-in union thugs of the now notorious egg-throwing incident in Nevada, where they tried to disrupt the scheduled Tea Party event.  Evidence clearly showed the accusers as the guilty parties, who a la Saul Alinsky, attempted to make the victim the culprit.  Breitbart now offers $100,000 for any evidence that supports the progressives’ charges.

Around our little community the local progressives were quick to hyperventilate their rage against our local Tea Party (of which I am a member) as being birds of feather and capable of such dastardly acts.  (See RR comment threads)  They faithfully shilled the MSM reports which are now being hurriedly buried and re-directed into such things as ‘easter egg’ incidents.

Last Thursday night’s well-planned and attended ‘Meet the Candidate’ forum at the GV Veterans Hall was held in front of a civil, attentive, and interested audience.  It was co-sponsored by The Union, KNCO Radio, and the Nevada County Tea Party Patriots, and included a little noticed incident of misguided left-wing activism against the local veterans and, presumably, the TPP.  Apparently a cohort of like-minded people refused to donate the requested $5 to cover the event’s expenses with the remainder, as clearly stated on the program, going to named veterans groups using the hall.  These people came in, sat through the proceedings until the Clerk-Recorder candidates finished, and then got up and left in the middle of the doings.

So I invite the sanctimonious and sure-minded of the left to present their supporting evidence for their outrage, and collect an easy $100,000.

There is much more to all this as RR readers are aware.  A good summary, which cites the events and puts them into a reasonable perspective, has been posted by Andrew Breitbart here.  It is definitely worth a read, especially if your daily round includes encounters with the hyperventilators.

    George,
Good post. I was just getting ready to post on Andrew Breitbart’s article, and now I will just link to this post. Thanks finding a local link to the story.

    Representative Emanuel Cleaver’s statement:
For many of the members of the CBC, like John Lewis and Emanuel Cleaver who worked in the civil rights movement, and for Mr. Frank who has struggled in the cause of equality, this is not the first time they have been spit on during turbulent times.
This afternoon, the Congressman was walking into the Capitol to vote, when one protester spat on him. The Congressman would like to thank the US Capitol Police officer who quickly escorted the others Members and him into the Capitol, and defused the tense situation with professionalism and care. After all the Members were safe, a full report was taken and the matter was handled by the US Capitol Police. The man who spat on the Congressman was arrested, but the Congressman has chosen not to press charges. He has left the matter with the Capitol Police.
This is not the first time the Congressman has been called the “n” word and certainly not the worst assault he has endured in his years fighting for equal rights for all Americans. That being said, he is disappointed that in the 21st century our national discourse has devolved to the point of name calling and spitting. He looks forward to taking a historic vote on health care reform legislation tomorrow, for the residents of the Fifth District of Missouri and for all Americans. He believes deeply that tomorrow’s vote is, in fact, a vote for equality and to secure health care as a right for all. Our nation has a history of struggling each time we expand rights. Today’s protests are no different, but the Congressman believes this is worth fighting for.

“each time we expand rights”- the rational voter would re-word this quote to read “every time politicians add another entitlement onto the shoulders of the productive members of society in exchange for votes from the unproductive members of society.” The past 2 admins have added healthcare and jobs to the long list of entitlements (the ignorant them rights) forcing the self-dependent to shoulder the burden of paying the bills. What’s next, everyone has the right to a sun tan? 4 x4 union made truck? Plasma TV’s? Vacations to Europe? To give one person an entitlement means you must first take it from another.
The fact that the progressives are so loudly opposed to the TPP’s is a testiment to the TPP’s virtuous values.

Hey Steve, consider this from the Polipundit
    Mark Steyn:
On March 20th, something truly extraordinary happened. On the eve of the health care vote, a group of black Democrat Congressmen (eschewing the private tunnels they usually use to cross from their offices to the Capitol) chose to walk en masse through a crowd of protesters, confident that the knuckledragging Tea Party goons they and their media pals have reviled for a year now would respond with racial epithets.
And then, when the crowd didn’t, the black Congressmen made it up anyway. Representative Andre Carson (Democrat, Indiana) insisted he heard the N-word 15 times. He’s either suffering from the same condition as that Guam-flipper from Georgia, or he’s a liar. At a scene packed not only with crews from the Dem poodle media but with a gazillion cellphone cameras, not one single N-word has been caught on audio.
    NewsBusters:
…I checked with my source on the scene, Greg Farrell, to get a timeline on the passage of the Black Caucus members from the Cannon Building to the Capitol and back.  According to Farrell, they left the Cannon Building about 2:30 PM on March 20th and returned about 3:15 PM.  He had no reason to exaggerate.
I asked because at 4:51 that same day, McClatchy reporter William Douglas posted an article on the McClatchy website with the inflammatory headline, “Tea party protesters scream ‘nigger’ at black congressman.”
In other words, Douglas, with an attributed assist from James Rosen, managed to interview representatives John Lewis, Emanuel Cleaver, and Barney Frank, compose an 800-word article, and have it edited and formatted for posting within a 90-minute window.

Only two possibilities present themselves, neither of them good: Douglas had started writing this enormously consequential article in advance and/or he assembled it with a reckless indifference to the facts.  A simple call to the Capitol Police would have killed the spitting story and a review of the video footage would have thrown the screaming of “nigger” by multiple “protestors” into such serious doubt that no responsible paper would have printed it.

I’m amazed no footage has shown up for this reward. All I’ve got to say is, Where’s the proof?
