   Here’s a local economic “project” folk scan help with this Saturday at 5 PM at the former Weaver Auto site in Grass Valley.
   If anyone wants to help in the local economic effort please come to the former Weaver Auto site in Grass Valley this Saturday at 5 PM to help.
   When Weaver walked away from the dealership he turned off the water and the power. This meant the landscape irrigation systems were shut off. Now most of the trees and landscaping is dead and brown. What message does this send out about our community? Who would want to take over the facitilty now that most of the trees and lanscaping are dead?
   I have been hauling water to the site and hand watering the remaining trees and plants while I have begged the Grass Valley City Council for months to get involved and get the irrigation water back on to save the remaining landscaping. But the City has not responded, no reply, not one word and the City and Weaver have done nothing to help.
   So, with help from Keoni Allen (a can do guy) of the Contractors Association we will have a water truck and buckets at Weaver Auto this Saturday at 5 PM. We will be watering the remianing, living trees and plants and ask that others in our community show up and help us water the remaining trees and plants.
   The death of the landscaping was a senseless and tragic thing and it was forseeable and preventable.
   So if you care about our local economy and our future, please attend this Saturday at 5 PM at Weaver Auto to help fellow citizens do what the City and the property owner refuses to do… that being water the remaining live trees and plants and putting a stop to this tragic and senseless blight on our community.
   PLEASE attend this Saturday and help water. Your help is needed and it will make a differance!
