I’m going to guess that yellow represents new spending under President Obama and the black dot in the upper left corner represents the $100 million spending cut?

If it is too big to fail, our country is endangered by it. The H/P way, no division bigger than 3,500, was very wise, in addition to the policy on layoffs, until Nurse Rachid (Carly Fiona) arrived. Smart as all get out, but clearly working for the Dark Side.

According to the former Union editor this post is “exaggerated” and in his own words, “mean-spirited.”
Compare Pelton’s post with Rebane’s more mean-spirited, exaggerated item titled ‘A Socialist’s Latest Cutback.‘
It appears that the former editor and the latest liberal blogger Don Pelton at Sierra Voices have formed a mutual admiration society. Both have moderated blogs, which controls the content of the posts. Negative comments will not be allowed. Since the former editor rails about the Union should be fair and balanced, I think his moderated blog is just a one sided instrument. Here George takes on all sides.
As for this post being mean spirited, it appears that the truth hurts those that cannot come to grips with reality.

Obama’s budget = $3.6 trillion. Obama’s proposed cutbacks = $100 million. 10^8/(3.6×10^12) = 0.0000278, therefore the little black square is actually a bit too big. Innumeracy is a terrible burden.

Russ,
You’re sounding a little threatened by more rational dialog. BTW, my blog (jeffpelline.wordpress.com) isn’t “moderated.” Why it even includes some diatribes by you.
My nonpartisan point has been the same all along: The GOP, local and national, is in deep doo-doo — a favorite metaphor of “potty talker” Rebane. (I’m sure it’s no coincidence that his “chart” is yellow.) Your pseudo-intellectual diatribes are alienating people further, including ones in your own political party. I hear it all the time.
Wanna see how the next local election (for supervisors and other posts) turns out? Don’t be surprised if the pendulum swings the other way this time around and some people blame it all on you. The demographics of our county are changing: you got to come up with some more persuasive stuff.
