George Rebane (A blessed and proud father)

Earlier this week, after some long and determined preparation, a wonderful thing happened.  Our 43-year-old daughter Sini wrote an account of it for family, friends, and her church which begins –

“Yesterday I helped save someone’s life. I don’t know her name or where she lives or what kind of a person she is. I only know that she is a 67-year-old woman with myelodysplastic syndrome and she is very sick. So sick, in fact, that she needs to undergo a peripheral blood stem cell transplant. It turns out that I am a perfect tissue-type match for this woman and after an extensive physical exam I was approved as her anonymous stem cell donor. You may wonder how it is that God could use me in this powerful way. Let me tell you the story.”
